I think the only reason he stayed over night was to actually get the right contract for both sides. Something tells me he will be there at redskins park at 4pm ready to go..or he stayed in dc so he can get to reagon national faster..lol

its the fact that there are plenty of other places to post your thoughts on Tatupu, not start a new thread.
All in good fun

I grew up in the era of video games ... always asking for whatever new system came out ... super nintendo, etc.
I got a bike once though. I rode it around.

from rotoworld - Free agent LB Lofa Tatupu is still scheduled to visit with the Redskins Thursday, a source tells beat writer Grant Paulsen.
Just trying to help the OP a little.

Free agent LB Lofa Tatupu is still scheduled to visit with the Redskins Thursday, a source tells beat writer Grant Paulsen.
The Redskins re-signed ILB Rocky McIntosh on Wednesday, so the timing here is odd. Perhaps the 'Skins want to kick the tires on Tatupu as an eventual replacement for 36-year-old London Fletcher. Or maybe they just feel like tossing some money around. ProFootballTalk.com reported Thursday that the Redskins are $18.7 million under the cap. Related: Redskins

Beat writer Brad Biggs doesn't expect the Bears to sign free agent LB Lofa Tatupu unless he "strikes out on a richer contract elsewhere."
A report on Tuesday suggested mutual interest between the two sides, but middle linebacker isn't the Bears' biggest need. They likely just see Tatupu as a talent they'd be willing to latch on to cheaply instead of someone they are actually targeting. They already did that twice when by picking up Vernon Gholston and Amobi Okoye off the scrap heap.
This was a little earlier....maybe a little help for you as well....

'Twas a joke there, guy. And I only live in Boston during the summer. Redskins season ticket holder here.
But nice try! :)
Edit: I dunno if you noticed, but I put a :silly: face on there as well. Kinda making fun of all the thread police we have here on ES. Glad to see you didn't overreact, though.

i just don't see signing Tatupu. That kind of signing defines not giving our own younger player a chance to develope. I just don't see that as the direction the 'skins have been going. Not that i am in the know, just what my gut says, and i admit it's been wrong a lot recently.

If they think that he can step in when Fletcher is ready to step down and be the leader, and the defensive captain, and call the plays, call the audibles, and be accountable for the players on the field, then absolutely it makes sense to do this.
Not every lineback has those smarts, and this guy is the closest to London Fletcher that's out there right now.
If we did sign him, I think you can write in that this is London Fletcher's last year. Hate to see him go, but I think the writing would be on the wall and I think it would be under London's own terms.

Pretty sweet, although the bills are piling up.
In an effort to keep things on topic, I don't really want Tatutpu. I have a feeling his knees will give in the middle of the preseason.

I would be excited if this happens. Not to see Fletcher go, but to have Tatupu in B&G, It would be good for us if he learned from Fletcher and then took over for him.
I still dont think that it will happen, but I had also never thought of it the way that you put it.

He started a new thread to get comments. Not go make a comment in a dead thread where no one will respond. Its like fishing on here to have a conversation about the skins. All the conditions have to be right. There are threads from 2008 that are still alive. I wanted to talk a tatupu, but you didnt. You got on this thread to be a douche. You didnt come to join in, then go on, and try to find the last comment you made and see if anyone replied.

Now that we signed back Rocky, I don't know if they need Tatupu, even though he would be an upgrade. ILB would be a crowded position, but competition is good.

I agree competition is needed at ilb. With fletcher being the only lock at that position, why not bring him in. I highly doubt that they need stallworth but he's brings competition to a wr core in desperate need of it

If we sign Tatupu, our LB roster would be Orakpo, Fletcher, McIntosh, Kerrigan, Alexander, Riley, Tatupu, and Jackson, right? I don't see us keeping more than eight linebackers. So, we'd be releasing Henson and Blades, right?

Dude, I have to go through some SERIOUS decleansing to get that stinch off of me!
I will contribute to this thread. I haven't heard Lofa getting a lot of offers around the NFL, so I'd be in favor of bringing him into camp, especially since Rocky only signed a one year contract. Who knows? Maybe Lofa will pick up the 3-4 better than Rocky? Always worth a look IMO.

Def. Blades, but Henson is going to get a chance I think. Lofa would be directly competing with Rocky for that veteran presence, and right now I would give the upper hand to Rocky with his year in the system.

You should spend more time reading the rules. If you did, you'd know that we have always asked the membership to help police itself. And you know the saying, if you're noot part of the solution, you're part of the problem. ;)
Do you have a feeling your attempt to be an ahole has failed. Go discipline your pet, its grown men your talking too..but I guess being a skins fan in Boston will make you irrelevant, so you post your frustrations on here

You'd also do well to spend some re-reading the rules. Though I do agree the Facebook bit was funny. :)
