How could he possibly have NOT been doing it on purpose?! There's an enormous section of wall on the side of that guy. There was probably another section of wall to the left of those two men.

Note: I think he actually meant to hit that Monday Night Football thing but was an absolute moron and reckless about doing it.

Don't have a problem with **** happening. Cause **** does happen. But I can't understand why he didn't check up on dude. At least apologize. No way did he miss it drilling dude in the face after it left his hand

The guy is a Giants video intern. Boley apparently didn't know about it until after the game.

Are you people insane? If you check on that guy right away, you're further embarrassing him by keeping him on national TV and drawing attention to it. The right thing to do would be to wait a bit and then apologize when no one is looking.

Some of you crack me up. Dude probably didn't even look at the guy standing there. When you get adrenaline pumping, you just go.

I laughed hard. And that guy now has an awesome story to tell... I'd live it up:

"Man, I remember back in '11... Haha... Man... Anyways... Back in '11, this guy Michael Boley scored a defensive touchdown... And I was working with the Giants... But, what happened was he scored the touchdown and threw the ball as hard as he could at the wall. I mean, this thing was a laser beam. I think it had smoke coming off of it. It was incredible. As he threw it, I was so in awe of the orange flames coming off the ball from it reaching terminal velocity that I didn't react when it came straight at my face. BOOM! Took it in the grill. I went down. But I immediately popped up... I even flexxed for the camera afterwards, blood pouring from my nose. Then, Boley didn;t even apologize. How bad ass is that? Wow that was awesome!"

When you're on an adrenaline rush like Boley was, you don't really "think" while in the moment. This has happened COUNTLESS times w. athletes, so I don't see the big deal. I'm sure someone brought it up to him in the post game. If then he showed little-to-no contrition, then yea, throw stones all you want. Like I said before, it's not a big deal.

What a crock. I can recall plenty of times where players collide with people on the sidelines and then have the common decency to quickly check on them and help them up.

Right. It just points to the narcissic character of a guy.

You assume he knew. I really doubt it. My guess (and another assumption) is that he threw the ball and immediately turned his attention elsewhere. Not bothering to see where it hit.

Because you know him? Give me a break.

Did our beloved Mike Sellers have narcissistic characteristics when he slammed the US Flag down a few years back? Again...it's adrenaline. I don't understand why this is such a hard concept for you to grasp.

I don't know. Look at the clip, K. He's looking right at the guy. I don't blame him for hitting him with the ball. That's an honest mistake. I blame him for doing nothing to acknowledge he's sorry it happened. But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

You lost me on the Mike Sellers thing. As to the adrenaline excuse, even an adrenaline-charged person could manage a "sorry" wave to acknowledge "my bad."

He should be fined.

No doubt about it, he threw it right at the guy's head.

That or he should apologize to him face-to-face.

It's bullying and it's wrong.

No way do I think he threw it at the guy on purpose. That makes absolutely no sense. But I also think that there's no chance he didn't see the ball smash into the guys face. He should have checked on him, given him a hug and celebrated with him.

Dude threw it right at the unsuspecting bystander. If he hits him wrong he could of injured his eye or knocked him completely out if it him in the temple.

It's not a blooper from the circumstance of being on the field, it's an assault.

Don't get how people are laughing at it, not sure what it says about their childhood. Don't get it.

He lasered a ball right at a guy's head, how should he NOT be fined?

So a Redskin scores a TD and launches a ball at your face because you happen to be there, no worries? Haha! Cool! WTF?

Your getting mocked for the 'bullying' line.

Way I see it, this Boley "attacked" a bystander with complete disregard for his well-being and no fear of any consequences to himself b/c he's a player in the game and the guy just happens to be there. To me that's bullying.

How the league doesn't penalize him is beyond me, not a great precedent to set.

Put yourself in the guy's shoes, how would you feel? Stoked? Doubt it.

It's not like Boley lobbed the ball into the stands and the guy wasn't paying attention, he was 10 feet away looking right at him and the ball was on a frozen rope at his ******* face.

It's no big deal, don't care about making other people see it my way. Honestly, if you only see it solely as a blooper you're beyond help.

I know what it was as soon as I saw it, look at the reverse shot of the play and you see everybody staring mouths agape.

Rodriggo, I really don't think he hit the guy on purpose. But I also don't believe he didn't see what happened.

Also, I don't see how people think that a guy getting drilled in the face with a football high velocity from 10 feet away is somehow funny.

haha.. I took that. That kid wouldn't shut up during the 1st half of the Giants game. He got real quiet in the 2nd half! Thank god we won that game. There's nothing worse than losing against an NFC East team with a ton of their fans at the game.

Guys...look at the ball as it leaves his hand. It's a wounded duck and it's not even heading in the direction he was looking.

It was an obvious accident, LB's can't throw a football especially with gloves on.

Maybe I'm totally losing it or missing something but it seems obvious to me.

But GOD is it funny :ols:
