Like most of the available Redskins hats, its horrible looking...When I find a decent looking skins hat I normally buy two, they come few and far between!

That being said, I hate all flat bill sports team hats and Flex Fit never seems to fit right either.

ya'll do realize that you can bend the brim, right? most hats do come flat right out of the package and you bend it yourself. On that note, looks too old school for me, I like the hats that the players and coaches wore on the sidelines last year

Crapola! I'm a big time hat guy and Nike has made better quality hats than New Era in recent years. I'm not talking about the graphics, just the structure and quality of the material.

I have always hated New Era hats, so I"m super bummed that they are making the hats and that Nike isn't. Their hats just don't fit right, never have. I remember a long time ago when I was a kid, they took over for Sports Specialties (I think) and those hats were great. I've neve owned a New Era hat since then as I've never found one that looked right. They are just too rigid, the bill and the hat itself.

I also don't like that design very much. To me, simple is better.

Totally. I know this bc I get a new Nats hat each spring and a new Nike NCAA football hat each fall. The Nike hats are softer and mold more easily to my dome. Even though the bill is softer on the Nike hat, it doesn't lose form. The New Era bill never arches properly as others have stated.

Simpler is better. You get too flashy or too "involved", it turns out like ****. Not a good first try for New Era.

Can someone please explain to me, the point of buying a "draft hat", as opposed to any other hat? Don't get me wrong, I'm a hat person. I buy one from the Redskins Store every time I go to a game (been a couple of years since I made it to a game, so I'm assuming that's still possible). What's the point in buying (usually dumb looking) hats to celebrate a couple of days of picking rookies?

I just don't get the excitement of it. Am I just getting old?

I don´t get it. I own a couple of new era college hats and they are just plane simple. First logo at the front, second logo small at the back and hat just is one colour. I like that better.

I never understood the appeal of these strange looking hats that look rigid and uncomfortable with these flat bills.

Too each their own, so I don't judge on preference. As a kid I would always curve my hats in the most ridiculous ways, but it wasn't until I was older that I left the bill alone and when you put it on there is a slight bend to it naturally. That's just how pro baseball players do it... I like the that look more.

When I say I like it flat though, I'm not talking about the G'd up flat bill with the sticker left on it.

As for the Draft Day hat, I'd never buy it. I haven't bought a Redskins hat in the longest time because I don't like the fit of NFL hats (prefer MLB), so maybe New Era will change that for me. Simpler is always better, too. Give me Burgundy and the Skins Logo or "R."

I used to like when hats had a regular sized brim that was straight with a little curve and then you can bend them the way you wanted them. I'm not a big fan of the "already bent" brims, but to me they are better than the straight brims. And I hate the oversized straight brims with the sticker on them. I would say the majority of people wear caps with some kind of bend in them.

You can tell each poster's culture from their opinion. I notice that a lot of white guys bend their brims, almost until the ends meet (Never understood that)... This is a much more urbanized style. The design is meh though
