Tha was a crazy game. Would of been sweeter if DJ hit that half court shot at the end of normal play.

They are going to lose games early.....but it was almost like that team grew up alittle last night. Knocking off a team ranked twice as high. Lets see if anybody has noticed.

If we beat Gonzaga and Florida alot of people will notice this team. I am a little suprised Mike Jones has fallen behind Strawberry in the rotation.

How so? I guess it depends on what your expectations are for this year... I think that this team will make it to the tournament and maybe win one game, which i think would be a successful season, given the number of new players. Also, gary schedules some rough games in december. it seems like there are ALWAYS questions about maryland in december, even on their best teams. typically, they're going to lose some in december, but they will be stronger for it in march.

I think they are in trouble because they don't play very smart. They were beating Gonzaga at the half and they decided to shoot the 3 all second half.... I hate to be the one to break it to them but they can't shoot. Maryland has no 3 point shooters other than Mike Jones and he dosen't see the court yet. Its one thing to loose to a better team it is another to beat yourself. Then against West Virginia Gillcrest has 8 turnovers???? With no backup point guard and not one cumming in next year I don't like the make up of this team at all.

Congradulations to Gary Williams and the Terps I take back all the negative things after the two losses Maryland is full of heart and hopefully they learn how to shoot free throws before the end of the season...... Go Terps

Season rankings in college basketball are as useless as tits on a bull ( I always wanted to say that) As long as the Terps get into the field of 64 everyone will know this team

Not bad for a rebuilding year. There is definitely talent here. Hopefully consistancy will follow. The nice thing is that a good foundation is being built for 2004 and 2005.
