On PTI, Wilbon pointed out that the BCS has actually set things up perfectly.
The teams are seeded:
1. USC
2. LSU
3. Oklahoma
4. Michigan
The Rose Bowl is a 1 vs. 4 matchup where the #1 seed has homefield advantage
The Sugar Bowl is a 2 vs. 3 matchup where the #2 seed has homefield advantage
All they need to do is have a championship game between the winners of these games on a neutral site.
Wilbon suggested Don King promote the championship game on MLK day.
...if only the NCAA was that smart...
