Since I guess more OT stuff is going to be on the main board with news every few days or so.
I just wanted to give big "Up's" to all my fellow Terps here.
Big East Co-Champs? Is there a sport we can't beat them in?
hahahaha
Seriously......Huge game today to end the career of Terp greats like McBrien and Sutter. I just hope they find their ways onto an NFL roster somewhere.
Peace

I am a Maryland alum and proud of the effort we gave today. But lets face it, with football, the Terps will finish no better than 3rd in the ACC the next few years. Florida State is still the class of the ACC, and Miami is better than Fl State.

Guess you didn't see GT knock of Uconn this year.
I meant the ACC

Craig, congratulations on the win today. It is also refreshing to hear brutal honesty.

You're right, I didn't. I meant WVU/Maryland http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=233410120.

well, duh. Of course Tech and Miami are going to make it much harder. We won't be getting a sweet bowl next year.
my bad for nothing being specific. I know the Terps blew it against WVU in hoops. They will lose a lot of games early this year with such a young new team.
However, its a good thing that we've had Ralph here 3 years to build up the program enough were in another few years, we can compete with those guys.

Thanks, Mike. I love the Fridge, but until he gets some top notch recruits with blazing speed, he will have trouble with the tier I schools such as a Miami, Fl State, maybe even VA Tech...

Props to the Fridge. It's just amazing how quickly he turned that program around. He is a great college coach. I kinda agree with Craig about MD place in the ACC, but at least you know they will always be competitive with him at the helm.

Props to the Turt's this year.
Unfortunately for us WVU fans, this adds to another embarassing bowl record.
1-10 in the last 11 bowl games :gus:
