Why do they need to get rid of Hughes? He's been the best player on the team for a large portion of this season.

Hughes should be contending for most improved player this year. He has really come with the absence of Arenas and Stack. We have the 1 and 2 guard's stacked. Just need to find a legit threat for the SF and C positions. Hopefully Hayes can step up and take the role of starting SF. Draft Emeka this year..and bam...Wiz can be badass in the years to come.

The team is already so young. If they can turn their pick into a reliable big man, in the Abdur Rahim mold, I would be all for it.

Hughes' whole objective is to put up as many shots as possible. He plays no D, and the majority of the time he just tries to draw a foul in the lane so he can get to the charity stripe. He does'nt get his teammates involved, as evidenced by his poor assist:TO ratio even when he was playing the point. He's not a terrible player, he's just not the answer:cannibas: :dallasuck :eaglesuck :gaintsuck

He is pretty risky pick. I believe he has some sort of pituitary condition which forced him out of the last draft.

Hughes is the Wizards best defensive player by a mile no way he should be traded.Hopefully Stack can hold down the Sf spot.

Don't sleep on Kwame's Defense.

Hughes is the third best defensive player behind Dixon and Kwame. I don't see how anyone can say he doesn't play defense, have you seen how many steals he turns into easy layups and dunks?
