jordan set us back big time. the only good thing he did was get rid of juwan. he set kwame back 3 years by killing his confidence, and he traded rip for stackhouse.

The Hamilton trade didn't end up hurting the Wizards much at all. Hamilton doesn't add much to a team other than shooting. Not a lot of defense, rebounding, or assists. Stack doesn't offer much in the way of those things either. They wouldn be any better with Hamilton still on the team.

Jordan brought excitment and actually sold out the MCI center.
Now the Bullets can go back to losing with a quarter filled stadium.

Yes Jordan screwed us. Yeah he sold tickets that was it.
He made bad trades, he also got rid of a very talented buy named Courtney Alexander, dont understand that either. He cut Chris Whitney and kept Tyrone Lue, who SUCKS! Thank god we got Whit back now.
He drafted Kwame and then didnt give him a chance to adjust, Kwame is doing much better without him now.
We'll be fine once Arenas comes back, Arenas was lighting it up when he was healthy, and now that Stack is back too, we'll be alright.

Arenas is already back. He started in the loss yesterday against Memphis. He was predictably rusty going a horrendous 3/15 from the field.

You actually think Whitney is an NBA player? He's arguably the worst player in the nba.

Oh thanks BCS,
I couldnt find that game on TV so I didnt know, well once he really gets back and shakes the rust off.
And yes Whitney was a good leader and a great 3 point shooter. After Jordan let him go along with Hubert Davis and Courtney Alexander, what did we hit like 4 three pointers all last year??

The biggest problem Jordan and Doug brought to the team was versatility. The younger players couldn't get out and run like gazells with Jordan in the line up. It was more of a slow tempo that kept players like Stackhouse,Hughes and Kwame limited. better yet! they had hughes who's now a bright spot at his regular position playing PG.
Kwame still would have stunk up the joint if he had quality playing time under Doug and Jordan. But Jordan riding his tale constantly and demoralizing him didn't help the cause. Kwame will become a force in this league at the pace his own. But what he has to do also is become stronger in the post and continue working the weight room. When you see him compete completely with guys like Jermaine O'neal, then you know his come further along than were he used to be. But his must continue to bring his A game no matter who he plays against and must get stronger against more physical PF (weight room).
This team is just starting to get everyone heallthy and with Stack,Hughes and arenas getting most of the attention. Guys like kwame and Haywood will start reaping the benefits. Granted, I don't think they're gonna make the playoffs, but the second half of the season will tell us exactly were this teams going. (Stay tuned). I see promise in alot of the younger players and were gonna get a high draft selection come draft day.

The Wizards suck. They will always suck as long as this management group (Abe "Mr. Burns" Pollin and La Sooz) are in control. At least Unseld is gone. He let 3 all star power forwards (Webber, R. Wallace, and B. Wallace) leave for nothing in return.
Just accept their incompetence and ignore them. You will be much happier.

Let me guess you haven't been watching. Stop looking at their record but look at their play.
They are so much more exciting this year then they have been the last 5.

I actually look forward to watching the games this year because they are fun to watch and its really cool to see Kwame have a good game...he has been getting it done night after night....he 4 or 5 consecutive double doubles until his nose was broken right before the game and then he got a double double after that.

they were in contention with jordan on the team. however they still suffer from the same flaws they had with him-losing leads, getting blown out most of the game and having to bust ass to make a comeback that usually falls short. i'm just frustrated with them but i usually watch and cheer when i see them on tv.

First of all, the Wizards attendence is good for the crappy record. If even a .500 team, the Wizards would sell that place out every night.
