I posted on the Wizard forum how the wizards are gonna take the final playoff spot in the East, Mark my words.

The NBA cast on ESPN pissed me off by not giving these guys a chance even though Gilbert and Stack are back. They stated the cavs or Knicks will take the final 8th spot. BS, the wizards are starting to click after the younger players were getting better with Stack and gilbert out.

haywood and Kwame are getting better with stack and gilberts presence alone and kwame will continue to get better.

For you haters that despise the wizards, just wait. This team will be something to deal with if everyone stays healthy and they are getting better with every game.

The Wiz will make the playoffs.

Dude, I'm with you man. I'm not as high on them as you are. But you can tell that with both Stack and Arenas back in the lineup. The're definitely a different team on the court. They are one low post guy away from the playoffs in my opinion.

I agree with brookboy. This year will prove to be very valuable. Kwame and others got a chance to play by themselves, and it looks like it has benefited them. Bringing back Arenas and Stackhouse (not a huge Stack fan, but he can score) makes it a totally different team. If Arenas wasn't injured, Wiz wouldn't have such a horrible record. I doubt playoffs this year, but next year it should be possible.

I don't hate them. I don't like them. Bring back the Bullets!!!
WIZ? Something I take after drinking too much? When they become the Bullets again I'll root for them again.....maybe.
Until then, Go Spurs Go!

Also, Kwame is really starting to come one. Brendon has played a lot better also. Kwame, however, is going to be a star.

Kwame is finally getting some play time. We can only hope we give up that hasbeen or never was if you don't count the duke days Christen Laettner.

Kwame had been getting a lot of time for a while.I would hardly call Laettner a "never was" though. While he did not live up to expectations he was an all star at one point in his NBA career, and I thought he played quite well last year.

in my opinion, it is too late to get a playoff spot this year. however that may change with the rocekts game which is up next, this will test how good we really are. we will be at full strength. if we can beat the rockets then playoffs are in sight. eddie jordan may be a horrible in-game coach but he is working miracles with kwame, haywood, etan, and the other youngsters.

Well, our next game is against the Sixers and as long as were beating the eastern teams is what count. Especially those teams in our division. But yes! we must also win most of our remainding games to try and stay afloat if they want playoffs.

Also, the Yao-Ming factor doesn't constitute the Rockets being a playoff team or them being the Wizards measuring stick. As long as this team continue to run the ball and put up big numbers. They can hang with anyone. The main factor is if Kwame/Haywood can continue to play against the better centers and PF's of the NBA.

Time will tell, But all I know is these guys are getting hot, hungry and confident.

nobody beats the Wiz

Knicks are in the Playoffs unless Stephon Gets hurt.

Now We just gotta start beating teams in our divison like, Milwaulki, Philly, boston, Miami, New Orleans, Toranto, and New York.

Wizards are a VERY Good team with Stackhouse and Gilbert back. We have Blake and Hughes Coming in off the bench. Blake has been hitting three's like nobody's buisness, and Hughes has been the best player on this team since Gilbert got hurt. We also got Juan Dixon who can come in off the bench who can shoot the ball and isn't afraid.

If we Do make the playoffs i belive we can go far and we Can beat the Pacers. Kwame Brown the last time we played Indiana slapped O'Neal Around and played GREAT.

Well, Here's to the playoffs.

How is he a horrible "in-game" coach? I think he does a great job. He's implemented a system here, that takes advantage of the team's superior speed and agility compared to the rest of th eastern conference and even the whole league.

I think it was Quentin Richardson who said that Coach Dunleavy told them not to take the Wizards lightly before the game. He said their a "steals" team. They get a high number of steals and the majority of the players are very good on the fast break.

Unlike Collins/MJ, who only wanted to further their own legacies and didn't give a ***** about team development, EJ has turned this team into a franchise on the rise.
