ESPN news reports he suffered a leg injury trying to field a ground ball during the Red Sox game today. Had to be removed from the game.

it doesnt sound as bad when you read the write up on ESPN. Hopefully it is just a hamstring pull or something

Associated Press
FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Baltimore Orioles shortstop Miguel Tejada left Thursday's game against Boston with what appeared to be a right leg injury.

Tejada, who has the longest active consecutive games played streak in the major leagues at 594, was hurt when Mark Bellhorn hit a chopper between third and shortstop for the first out of the fourth inning.

Third baseman Melvin Mora cut in front of Tejada to make the play, and it was not immediately clear how Tejada was injured. Orioles manager Lee Mazzilli and a trainer came on the field to tend to Tejada, who stood with hands on hips, bent at the waist.

After a brief discussion, Tejada was replaced by Luis Lopez. Tejada appeared to favor his right leg as he left the field.

A former AL MVP with Oakland, Tejada agreed in December to a $72 million, six-year contract with the Orioles.

He hit a two-run homer in the first inning and an RBI double in the third. Tejada is 9-for-20 (.450) with two homers and six RBI this spring."

1st rounder on miggy? Even in a 16 team league that would seem high, but I agree that he will be just as good this year as he was in 2002 hitting in Camden. NAC took quite a few home runs away from miggy over the last few years

Yeah it was a little high but good shortstops are hard to find...and the real good ones were already going off of the board so I got the best one on the board.:pint:
