I gotta say thier last 2 games were really intense but was great to see them actually pull them both out.

Im a huge Duke fan, and Im also a character guy. You dont hear this much but ut really didnt bother me to UMD win. It was a hell of a game, and Duke couldnt out them away. Congrats Terp fans, and now we can get ready to see the ACC kick some a** in the big dance.

I am wondering how the duke fans feel now saying "not our rival" when the last played in Duke :silly:
Since you seem to be one of the nicer duke fans I have met tell the others and the players don't celebrate untill you win the game.

from my experience duke fans are real a-holes. they pride themselves in their stupid choreographed chants during the games, nothin more than a bunch of nerds dressed in blue. i hate how you guys think you are above everyone else....."not our rivals"?.......shove it. ACC CHAMPS BABY!

I actually think the chants are pretty cool. It sure makes the games unique.

Why does Duke Players act like they won the World Championships when they make a layup?
Why does JJ Reddick yell and scream and talk trash to the fans when he hit 1 3 pointer out of 10?
I didn't notice Duhon slapping the floor when he mans up on defense against Gilchrist...maybe because he had his ankle broken on his crossover!!!
Poor Coach K, he couldn't intimidate the officials

its just their way I guess. They are used to winning a lot and getting the calls and not having a hard time with most teams. For whatever reason. In the past few years, when its Maryland and Duke (not this year in the Reg season), the Refs aren't all up Duke's ass as much. We saw yesterday that both teams were getting dumb fouls and then non-calls. When that happens and you have a program that has beat Duke in some pretty big games (Two years ago at Cole, Senior Night for Battier). The Terps know they can run with Duke.
Right now, Maryland is hitting their stride. Syracuse in the 2nd round will be tough. But if we can get to the Sweet 16 on a "Down Year" for the program. Then that's a huge statement.
