Wow, have you seen his play these days?
He's been really nailing that 3 point shot, I think he was a steal in the 2nd round.

Really never thought he'd even see any playing time this year but, he's been a pleasant surprise. Hope he plays well next season.

The Wizards are guard heavy, but I think the recipe for fixing them is fairly simple:
-Get a good solid defensive-minded Center - Ilgauskas?
-Ditch the cancer that is Jerry Stackhouse as soon as possible
-Have Abe locked in a closet for the entirety of next season
A lineup of Arenas, Blake, Hayes, Brown, and Ilgauskas would be pretty darn good for an east team, with Dixon, Jeffries, Laettner and Etan Thomas coming off the bench. If Brown comes along as we've seen some this season, and Arenas can stay healthy, you've got the makings of a solid Eastern squad.

Dont forget about hughes. i think a lineup with arenas, hughes, kwame, etan/haywood, and stack(one more year) would be pretty nasty when healthy. im torn on what to do in the upcoming draft due to the fact when stack leaves we will need a solid 3 but it will be hard to pass on one of these big men coming out. maybe draft okafur and interchange him and kwame at the 5?

Blake has played great the last few games, but with all the good guards we have he is no better than a backup here. He's proven to be a reliable backup to Arenas, and even play in a rotation with Gilbert assuming the 2 and Blake running the offense. Unfortunately for him, Hughes brings more to the table.

As long as Abe is the owner. the Wiz will continue to be at the bottom of the cellar.

I was looking forward to seeing Blake at the PG before they signed Gilbert. Blake brings PG experience. He was trained as a PG not a converted 2G. The team needs someone who understands how to lead the team in a structured way. He is the only point on this team who is like a Stockton. This team need to put pieces together that work well together, not just add talent.
With Gilbert getting better as a PG and Hughes playing the 2G, Blake will have to prove to be a 2nd PG 3 point thread.

Blake has been a suprise but the fact is that he wouldn't be on a good team because he wouldn't make the team,

I must admit that I initially thought Blake was a horrible pick. He has played much better than I ever thought he would...

I LOVE THE WAY BLAKE HANDLES THE BALL , HES A VERY GOOD UTILITY PLAYER... MY PROBLEM WITH HIM IS .. HE CANT HIT THE 3 POINTER CONSISTANTLY!! SEEMS THATS HIS FAVORITE SHOT.. HE RARELY MADE IT AT MD, HE NEEDS TO TAKE A COUPLE DRIBBLES AND SHOOT THE MID-RANGE SHOT OR PENETRATE AND DISH THE BALL OFF... THATS HIS GAME.... IMHO.

yea.. blake shoot 37% from the 3 pt. arc.. he really has the team on fire in that area... the kid needs to stick to what he does best... dribble penetrate and take a mid range jumper.

I belive my point was, he is playing his game. He is the best 3 pt shoter on the team and he is not the problem. He has shown more in less time them many other players on this team. He is hard worker, has his head on straight, has good fundimentals. He is only going to get better. And, he is the only true PG currently on this team. Knight was the other but from the looks of his career stats, he is on a serious decline. Black is a R and played him even.
All this being said, I woundnt mind drafting that tall PG young kid.
