Satire (http://www.sportspickle.com/features/2004-0428-tillman.html)
If this offends anyone, it wasn't meant to, a friend sent it to me and gave me a good laugh.
Again, not trying to offend anyone here..just thought ya'll would get a kick out of it.

So if that did happen, would the Browns get a compensatory pick?
:D

I think the Browns would complain, they wasted their draft pick, Id think theyd ask for Tillman to play on their team if hes done fighting.

What a sickening thread. How can you not offend someone?

Viewed as a joke...as in we know it can/will never happen this is pretty funny. If only God did things like returning the good and humble to us in exchange for the idoits.
Which is not to say Kellen is one...or at least one deserving of death.....he's a caritcure in this story. Not so much real life Winslow...as the whiny sterotype Winslow. In that context, and again knowning this is impossible to happen and that there is no expressed threat to him.....
This is funny.....

Not funny to me, but to each his own I guess.

Not the least bit funny.

Lighten up people..
You either find it amusing or not.. End of conversation.
I didnt find it amusing, but i've made plenty of jokes in my day in poor taste that didnt go over well either.. So as Drex said.. To each his own.
But as for offending people, I have just as much right to make a joke in good taste as he does in poor. Thats the beauty of the first amendment.. An amendment and belief Tillman died for ultimately.

As you step down from your soap box, kindly show us where someone said he shouldnt have posted it, or that it should be illegal to post it.
Or do I not have the right to say it wasnt funny?

Did I single you out somewhere?
Did I say KILMER17, why are you being such a prick? Or anything along those lines?
Hmmm... No you say?
But to answer you regardless, I was responding more or less to the person saying how could you NOT offend anyone? The tone from that point on was generally negative.
But by judging from your last post, i'm sure you'll find something else to rant about regarding YOU even though I never came out and specified your name.

I am aware that you didnt single me out specifically. That's why I said:
kindly show us where someone said he shouldnt have posted it, or that it should be illegal to post it.
If I had thought that you had singled me out, I would not have used US or SOMEONE.
Your post wasnt specific. But it certainly tried to attack something that wasnt there to begin with.
And your immediate fallback into a personal attack simply shows your weakness.

"Or do I"
That doesnt happen to directly relate to you???
But its refreshing to see you retreating like you are when saying "I meant US"...
But regardless I'm done with this silly argument especially since nothing you are saying to me is holding any water.

And when faced with fact and not a straw man, the weak feeble oponent threatens to stop posting.
Hurry along little man. Youve been exposed.

Man.. I hate that. I had a good guffaw and then had to make the mistake of scrolling down.. Of course you have the right to say you think it's not funny, just as I have the right to say you've got WAY to much starch in your collar. Loosen up people.

But as for offending people, I have just as much right to make a joke in good taste as he does in poor. Thats the beauty of the first amendment.. An amendment and belief Tillman died for ultimately.
And you have just as much right to get called out on your stupid beliefs by others who don't think wishing someone else dead is funny.

Free Speech Lives!!
I think it is funny...not someone dying...but the satire of Winslow, Jr. If he hadn't acted like an *****, then he wouldn't have been picked as the subject of that satire.
Dark Comedy...Some people like it, some don't...but at least everyone has the right to say whether or not they think it is funny. I don't feel I have the right to bash someone for not liking the satire just as much as I don't think they have the right to bash me for liking it.
Bottom Line. Voice your opinion and move on. Everyone doesn't have to share your opinion.
