Catching Up With…Baby Jessica

In 1987, 18-month-old Jessica McClain plummeted 22 feet into an abandoned well. Our nation held its collective breath for 60 hours as rescue workers labored tirelessly to extract her from the cold, dark recesses of the man-made safety hazard. Then we rejoiced at her tearful return to her mother’s arms. Seventeen years later, we caught up with Baby Jessica and found that she’s doing OK and taking it one step at a time. Her words, as well as her actions, continue to inspire us each and every day.

STUFF: Are you OK?
