Kerry now says he WOULD appoint a ProLife Justice as long as it wont sway the Courts overall vote. This after he has stated he would NOT nominate a ProLife Judge at all.
But more troubling to me is the idea that in his mind, a Judge shouldnt be judged on his/her qualifications, but rather he/she should be judged based on what they MAY decide regarding 1 specific issue.
So Judge X isnt qualified if the Court is split 4-4, but Judge X IS qualified if the court is currently 5-3.
That's Kerry in a nutshell.

Nothing like standing by your convictions. Pictue this, Kerry in the Whitehouse with Dean screaming at UN meetings in his new role as VP. Thow in a few cameo appearances of Gore talking about his creation, the internet.
Ah yes, the dummycrats. Maybe they could get Willy Clinton to speak on behalf of the "build a stronger family" cooalition. And while were at it, we could get David Duke to work hand in hand with the minority interests of our great nation.

Dumb dumb comment by him.
You know how they have those volumes and volumes of books with Bush saying something totally retarded?
They should have one with Kerry's conflicting statements. I mean, it won't be as funny as the other one....but alls fair in Love and Politics.

I thought (and again I may be wrong)
If a judge says up front what they are for or against:
When the issue came before them they would have to recuse themself...
That is why you dont ask them what they believe during the appointment?

I don't know what the big deal is, every single politician is a big flip flop, and can not be taken on their word, especially once they are in office. People need to stop taking affiliation with political parties, the madness needs to stop.
