Has anybody else noticed that the offense is slowing down lately. Sure, there are injuries, but the offense can't allow themselves to get only two hits through the first five innings against a Rockies pitcher, which is happening as I type this. Meanwhile, Daniel Cabrera has only given up one run on two hits and two walks during the first five innings. Seriously, is it bad pitching or is it bad hitting that is costing the Orioles ball games.

A slump in infectious...even the batters who ARE hitting (Lopez, Tejada) aren't bringing anybody home. Thank goodness for Roberts grand slam today!

The runs finally came, but they are coming too late most of the time. The offense takes 5 or 6 innings to light up, and by the time that happens the bullpen is in and they already have given up a few runs. At least there are some strong performances from the starters that can allow the bullpen to keep the O's in the game.

Sometimes an offense needs a spark. Tejada spent the entire game (when on offense) leaning over the rail trying to give support... Hopefully they'll break out of it.
