how do i get rid of cheerleader

hey i read the avatar faq and i cant find anything that tells me how to get rid of the cheerleader avatar... what number of posts until i get a promotion? do i have to make a donation to change it ? thanks

Here's how. Read all of my posts. Follow each of my posts by posting "I agree. This guy is brilliant/funny/captivating/insigthtful" (take your pick as appropriate). Repeat this until instructed to do otherwise. Before you know it, the cheerleader will disappear.

I know just how you feel, pjirsh. Every time I posted with that cheerleader under my name, I felt as if I was engaging in false advertising. Other than being a blonde female who owned a pair of white go-go boots when I was 7, I have no “attributes” that would cause someone to confuse me with the woman in that avatar. I couldn’t lose her fast enough.
