Can you believe what Tony is doing, I mean 16 homers and 60 rbis for those lousy expos, why did we get rid of him......The only good move of the offseason was getting rid of that toad. Tony has been "On-fire" since the all-star break, hitting .286 with 4 hrs and 16 rbis since the break, to bring his season totals to .239 avg, .267 obp, and a .411 slugging, good for an ops of.678. Should we compare that to Melvin Mora?
Mora-.339 avg, .424 obp, .565 slugging, and an ops of .989.
Melvin mora has an On base percentage higher then Batistas slugging percentage, that should say enough of his value. Those of you who liked Tony Batista in B-more, ask yourself this. WHY?
