Can you believe what Tony is doing, I mean 16 homers and 60 rbis for those lousy expos, why did we get rid of him......The only good move of the offseason was getting rid of that toad. Tony has been "On-fire" since the all-star break, hitting .286 with 4 hrs and 16 rbis since the break, to bring his season totals to .239 avg, .267 obp, and a .411 slugging, good for an ops of.678. Should we compare that to Melvin Mora?

Mora-.339 avg, .424 obp, .565 slugging, and an ops of .989.

Melvin mora has an On base percentage higher then Batistas slugging percentage, that should say enough of his value. Those of you who liked Tony Batista in B-more, ask yourself this. WHY?

The only thing that he tries to do is hit home runs and his batting stance used to drive me crazy.......he was a little slow at the hot corner....

Certainly wasn't me...I thought he was a waste of space when we got him. Slow in the field, and tried to pull EVERYTHING over the left field wall. I'm glad they got rid of his "I dare you to hit me in the balls" batting stance.
