This isnt a makeup, yet the Orioles are playing at 12:35, and they are not on TV today? The Orioles are actually winning and they cant be watched today.

With renewed playoff aspirations, I was really excited for this game. I was planning on watching the whole game, something I haven't done for a while.

I'm sure you can put on 980 and hear them play.......they are only 7 games out of the wild card now.....hmmmmm....as long as their pitching continues to get better it should make for an interesting end to the season....

Yea, today's game is not on TV for some reason. There's always the radio, or mlb.com for the pitch by pitch stats.

LOL the announcer on MLB.Tv (probably Texas fan) said that Texas was just a Grand Slam away from a Win.. LOL

They'll need more than a grand slam, O's up 7-2 going to the 8th.

WOW, is BJ Ryan good or what. After giving up two hits and a walk, he comes back and gets two strikeouts. And lemme mention that he does not lose composure the whole time, thats just unbelieveable.

and he gives up another home run to M.Young, and it got ruled foul. Thats why i'm starting to hate Julio, he puts them RIGHT OVER THE PLATE....

Anyone willing to wager some Redskins tickets on the (zer)O's playoff chances.

I'll bet that the only way any current Oriole makes it to the playoffs is either via trade or if they purchase a ticket.

When up 7-2 you pound the plate with fastballs and make them put it in play. One run is a small sacrafice for 3 outs.

GET OUT THE BROOMS!!!!!!!!!!!!

well yea you do pound the plate, but the placement of Julio's pitches are just dumb. With a Barrage of Home run hitters coming up to hit, you dont just give them the opportunity, btw this is also one of the best hitting ball clubs (havent shown it of late, but still have the ability). BUt anywho....SWWWEEPPPPPP
:D

GO O's, onto anaheim we go. lets teach Vlad a lesson for bailing on us :)

Julio blows. Thats all i need to say. He had one good year, where based on his peripheral numbers, he was lucky. His K/9 has always been below average for a closer, considering the elite closers strike out 14-15/9 ip, and Julio strikes out about 7/9 ip. He had that 1 year with an era under 2, and now he has complete Job Security? Put Ryan in.
