Well, now the orioles are 9 games back in the wild card. they have lost 2 straight to the AL West leaders, the Oakland A's. Their Offense has been nonexistent since leaving Toronto, and for most of the Toronto series they were quiet offensively. The Orioles are so streaky it seams, and their Pitching goes when the offense goes. Palmeiro is such a bum, he just kills our offense with his Pop ups and Double plays. Today, Tejada got a single, then comes Raffy to hit into a double play, which along with walk is all he is good(well good?) for. His Slugging percentage of .402 is the lowest among any Starting 1b in the Mlb with at least 400 ab. He is just dragging us down dramatically, and his walks arent overcoming his shortfalls in his other aspects of his game. If we just put even BJ Surhoff at 1b and took out Palmeiro for good, our Offense would improve.

They wasted a pretty decent start by Lopez. I went to the game, and haven't left a game early.....until tonight. The offense laid an absolute egg tonight. Hopefully they can eek out a salvaging win tomorrow...but the A's have the future cy young winner going. It doesn't look too good.

You can't blame Raffy. If we had some good pitching, we'd be in the hunt, but I know hat you mean....

Was'nt expecting much, but would have liked more......
