Are we seeing a resurection of power football? The strong defensive teams keep advancing. Will the ball control, make no mistakes offences follow. Last year many teams tryed to imitate the Rams. How many will follow the Ravens, whose D - cordinator should be a head coaching interview for any rebuilding teams. With the Giants, Eagles and Red Skins building better Ds this year with the NFC East be a better place to watch football?

THIS year it would be one of them. The better matchups are still in the AFC Central and AFC East, even with the Buffalo shakeup and the Jets not in the playoffs. With Tenn., Balt., Pittsburgh and the possibility of Jax to come storming back, that will be a toughie as well.
The NFC East is back on the rise and should be the best ticket in that conference. The Central is in a whirlwind, with Detroit kind of uncertain, Chicago in turmoil like Arizona, and GB about a year off the heels of Tampa Bay, who aint' done just yet. Minnesota looks done and cooked!
The NFC West is half and half, without the cream, St. Louis is now in a rebuild.
Time will tell how many others, including the Skins are actually in a rebuild. The good thing is the Skins are not making "wholesale" changes this year. Names aren't a priority, but what fits is.
Next year, other than the NFC EAst, it is anybody's guess what the aligment will do. The stakes will be raised in the NFC EAST (the old one anyway in 2002), as poor Arizona won't be around for teams to pluck at least one game.
