ok fine, he just wants your picks/players. Send me any wacky trade proposition you like, including for players. I'm willing to give up Brunnell and Taylor, as I'm looking to rebuild.

I'll trade you Eric Moulds for Fred Taylor and Jacksonville's second round pick.

OR

Eric Moulds for Mark Brunell and Jacksonville's second round pick.

OR

Buffalo's 3rd round pick for Fred Taylor.

[ March 21, 2002, 01:14 PM: Message edited by: Die Hard ]

Moulds is a great player, but he's not the kind that the Jaguars can afford to go looking for, what with our salary cap problems and our needs.

And besides, WRs just aren't worth that much in this league (Jerry Jones stupidity aside).

As far as Freddie goes, I'm going to wait and see what kind of offers I get for him as the draft nears... he's definitely on the table, but probably not for a 3rd rounder (yes, I appreciate that it is a high 3rd rounder).

TCO - If you think you're gonna get any better than a third round pick for Fred Taylor... you're dreaming. And if you ARE going to get a 3rd-round pick for Taylor... it's not going to get any higher than the 4th pick in the third round.

So you may as well state to everyone you're asking price for each player. It'll help everyone in the long run.

In addition, the Jaguars are expected to draft Jabar Gaffney or Ashley Lelie with the 9th pick... so in fact WR is a perceived need in Jacksonville. The Jags are losing McCardell this year and Soward is history. You've got no one behind the great but aging Jimmy Smith.

[ March 21, 2002, 02:24 PM: Message edited by: Die Hard ]

Dude... The Jags have salary cap issues. Moulds has a big 'ol contract. Besides, the Jags are going to try and win this year. I'm going the opposite route, and rebuilding. There's no way in hell I'm trading for a WR when I'm letting my own guys go due to salary cap issues.

You run your team, I'll run mine

I offer the #1 overall pick in the 2002 draft for Brunell, Taylor, and this year's 1st rounder. You guys could use David Carr or Julius Peppers.

I'll give Ben Gay (Again, the player not the ointment) and a 6th rounder for Taylor.
