I'm not typically one to get involved in site issues, but here it goes. Closing the Florida threads seems to be a bit extreme to me. Pez's picture, though not a thing of beauty, was humorous. These girls, beautiful though they may be, put their pictures up for very obvious reasons. Having a little fun, when it was clearly not meanspirited should be tolerated. It is unfortunate that whistles and crow calls from the "boys" are ok, but when a little fun is had, the hammer comes down. The moderators of this board do an excellent job at using discretion in most all cases, but I think they missed the boat on this one. I understand the reasoning behind why the girls got the opportunity to request it be closed. I just don't agree with it. Like a politician, when you put yourself out there for the public to see, you have to have a little thick skin and be able to laugh at yourself. It seems a little shallow in my estimation.

I guess I didn't consider PM thito, and I guess if there was already a discussion on this, I missed it. And you don't know me to accuse me of seeking attention. If the issue has been addressed then I don't expect I'll see anymore responses.

Hey guys... I didn't mean to cause an uproar everywhere, just was trying to have a little fun. Definitely was not trying to put anyone down or anything.

That being said, ANYONE who puts up pictures of themselves in their underwear is asking for it. I don't care how hot you are (I would have done the same thing if cindy crawford had decided to post her picture here - I am an equal opportunity offender :) ) To anyone who got upset, I am sorry (not really).

We certainly appreciate your taking the time to post a separate thread voicing your opinion on our moderating decisions and what you think was wrong with them, steven. Nothing like a little public constructive criticism thread to round out a long and tiresome few days of making judgement calls based on all kinds of criteria---many of which we've explained ad nauseum on this forum, and even more that aren't in the public domain.

Your objection certainly is noted.

And don't worry ... to show how thick our collective skin really is about this kind of thing, we're not going to temp ban you, shut down your thread or even change your avatar.

It feels so darn good to be magnanimous. :)
