..... if no election results were reported for a week at least?

Rather then all this election night coverage, the people who count the votes can actually go through and make sure it is done right.

Then next Tuesday the state by state results can be reported rather then the coverage tonight with networks "calling" the election for so and so

Not if it meant a more acurate count and a better chance of snuffing out voter fraud. I just hope the networks hold off calling Florida this time until the western part of the state's polls have closed.

If it's not close, I want to know now.

If it is close, well ... The longer you wait, the more likely the losing side will call foul.

Haven't we waited long enough?

I like the CNN.com site... A blank map with a 0-0 electoral score. Not like they are getting ready to predict anything. I do wonder how soon the news agencies will start to predict things (given the problems 4 years ago) and if one of them starting to make predictions will result in a landslide of guessing.

I am with Henry, I want to know ASAP if it is able to be called, otherwise I want a quick concise process that hopefully results in a statistically significant win that can't be easily challenged.

The interesting thing is all these voting issues have always been around, the question is how do they affect the outcome and do we really care that much (assuming the anomalies are small enough to not matter in the final outcome)?
