We are looking good.

To bad the clock problem disrupted our momentum.

Shaq 2 fouls on the bench where we need him.

Kwame has a strong rebound and nice shot. He is coming around.

I still want to see him and Haywood on the floor together.

We will take them tonight.

This is kinda a must win for the wiz

Kwame does one stupid thing that drives me nuts.
I see him standing straight up a lot.

He should be bend at the knees, leaning, making space.

He is a big dude, he should be wearing people out but making space. He needs to be more active like this.

I hope its only because he is conserving energy because he is out of shape still.

Shaq will be back soon. I hope Gil drives on him and puts him back on the bench. 3 fouls would do that. They need to attach him.

how did jamison get in foul trouble so quick...he might have to sit the rest of the half

Yeah. Not sure. He doesnt usually do anything in the second quarter anyway. He will be rested for the 3rd.

We are hanging in there. They are doing a little better on Shaq but I want to see Haywood and Kwame.

What was that call on Haywood nocking it out of bounds. That was clearly Shaq hitting it out.

This is such bull sht

Kwame is playing great D on Shaq.

2 crappy calls.

One Kwame standing his ground and Shaq plows into him.

One Kwame jump to get around Shaq and he hold him off with his left arm and they call him again.

This is just stupid. Give me a dame break.
The dame refs have to at least let them play.

Im so dame pissed

You can play perfect D on Shaq, and still will get in foul trouble early in the 2nd half. That's just how the refs in the NBA do it. Haywood just had one of the cleanest blocks I've ever seen on Shaq and just got a foul. Am I surprised?? Nope.

This would be a huge win for the Wiz as we're about to go out West for 5 or 6 games. We're playing well right now, hopefully we'll keep it up, but our big men are going to be in foul trouble before the 3rd ends the way the refs are calling it.

COME ON

You have to be joking.

Haywood just made the perfect play on Shaq and they called him for the foul.

Incrediable. I understand Shaq is a start but the refs have to have some pride in not making the totally stupid call.

hands11
December-15th-2004, 07:48 PM
Shaq with 3 fouls.
Jones on the bench with 3

Wade playing average.

It feel good.

We are playing well and playing good D

hands11
December-15th-2004, 07:52 PM
Shaq with 4 fouls and on the bench.

This is the best D you can play on him.

Sit him on the bench.

We are missing a great opprotunity here.

Kwame just went to sleep. He is standing around again.

I wonder if he will be in when we come out of this time out.

I think we will see Haywood.

hands11
December-15th-2004, 08:06 PM
Come on

This is just stupid. Now they called one on Kwame.
These refs have to get a clue.

hands11
December-15th-2004, 08:11 PM
I would say the refs calling this game the way they are has cost us about 10 pts.

How are we supposed to beat these guys when its not only 10 pts but all the momentum we loss becuase of these call. We have play that should be boosting us, and they are instead frustrating us.

We should be able to sue for shi@@y calls.

if we don't win this game we will never beat them :(

12pts advantage. Maybe 20 at this point.

This is beyond redictulous.

If we don't win this game, these refs need to be fired. This is an absolute travesty. It's like watching Duke refs.

ROFL..these refs are literally giving the game to the Heat. Unfreakinbelieveable...someone send a letter to the ref's so we can get an apology or something. :/

If these refs arent fired, then the NBA is fixed. GG SHaq is allowed to take slam the ball in when the ball is still in the hoop.

Fatty P For The Pulitzer

I'm choking on the irony, Laettner gets a block to possibly seal the win. Just like Stack dropping 27 on us in the ass-whooping from Dallas.

We won this game.

We showed great progess.

That's more important then anything. Its just a loss but Im sure all the players know they really won.

They have to be so pissed that they cant get any calls against these guys. I give the refs a 1 on a scale of 1-10. Thats just to much to overcome. Why even play the game if they are going to hand it to Miami. That has to be so tough mentally to deal with. I give then a ton a credit not giving up.

We are maturing. Players showed what they needed to.

Gil is driving. He was great.
Haywood and Kwame played great defense.
We took the step we needed.

That last shot by Jamison was stupid because we had more time then that but it doesnt matter.

We played great. Now we just have to wait for the refs to start calling a only a crappy game instead of a mind blowing, insane, terrible game.

Jordan needs to start getting T's in games against lesser teams or teams that we are blowing us away, so he draws more attention to how crappy they are calling the game.

We are as good or better then Miami at this point. Thats were we are ranked against the other teams. We will get our wins.

It hard to tell if we beat LA becuase I cant count on a fairly ref'd game against any team that has a super star.

It just blows me away. It must be so nice to get that much of an advantage against another team. Winning has to be so much easier. And you can take so many more chances if you are always going to get bailed out. AMAZING

We played great defense. We cant get a call.

If we got a fairly called game we would have won

105-88 at least.

This was a blow out. We crushed these guys.

Don't look at the score. Watch the game and ignore the calls against us. We did great.

We took Shaq out of the game and he is the best 3 shooter in the game and we still bet then by at least 15 pts.

There was nothing wrong with the way we played. The game plan was great and we performed great. My only complaint is we missed to many free throw. We would have won even with the bad officating if we made more.

We need to work on free throw shooting. That's right, practice. We talkin bout practice!

Tough one to swallow guys...some very bad calls by the refs, bad free throw shooting, and some bad luck....

We should of ended up with a W tonight...last game I thought there was some iffy calls in Shaq's favor, tonight it was blatant!

Some positives:

1.) Haywood outplayed Shaq

2.) More playing time for Kwame....getting in better game shape.

3.) We never quit

4.) Our big 3 still showing great chemistry

Some negatives:

1.) Dixon shooting too much

2.) Too much one on one play on offense

3.) Too many missed free throws...there free for Gods sake!

Well, on to the next game....

hands11
December-15th-2004, 09:52 PM
Dixon was 1-3 in 6 min

How is that to much

Hayes was 3-11 in 25min

The overall FT % looks bad but

GIL 5-7
Hughes 3-4
Jams 5-5
Haywood 5-8 ( missed 2 clutch ones but this is about how good a FT shooter he is. It would be more likely Gil goes 7-7 or Hughes 4-4 but your going to miss a few some nights.

Jefferies 1-4. He .525 on the season. He really has to be a lot better then this. He really sucks at the line. He has never shoot better then .614 for us. He should have a better touch then that.

Haywood is better then him at .546 Thats amazing. You have to have some pride. You cant except being worse the Haywood at the line.

This is another reason to play Kwame in his place.
Kwame is .615 this year but in the past he has been

01-02 .707
02-03 .668
03-04 .683

hands11
December-15th-2004, 10:41 PM
What was Jamison thinking tonight.

1-7 from 3 pt range.

Gil had an off night from 3 shooting 1-5

We were just bad on the long ball.

Dixon 0-2
Hayes 0-2
Jam 1-7
Gil 1-5
Hughes 0-1

.118%

Even with all the bad calls we still could have won if we just hit one more of these. I would have let Gil .404% or Dixon .356% shoot that last shot, not Jam .275

What was he doing shooting all those 3's tonight. Thats not his game.

I think that is why he only played 6 minutes....he only had a few touches and everytime he launched long shots....I think EJ saw this too and sat him....IMO of course.

The Wiz are a young and up and coming team that will learn from experiences such as last nights game.

They are going to be alright.

That was a tough one to lose. You could see it on the faces of our players. However, I think the other teams in our division are starting to believe that they are facing more divisional losses this year due to our rise. The Washington Wizards are a good basketball team. (I canNOT belive I just said that.) ;)

I was at the game. The refs jobbed the Wizards HARD! I thought I was watching a Redskins game, I have never seen a ref crew so biased before in my life, it made me and my friends sick to our stomachs. Oh by the way, Larry Hughes needs to work more on covering his man, far too many times he was leaving his guy wide open for a shot, it started to piss me off.

It's nice to hear feedback from people that actually go to the games...they see the entire court and not the half court that we see on t.v....I know I pick up a lot more stuff up when I can see the whole field at the Skins' games.....Hughes, I believe is the leader in steals in the NBA...maybe is he is playing off his guy in hopes of jumping in the passing lane to get some steals....just a thought.

That could be true. Im not sure. Juan is a shooter and usually a good scorer. He didnt shot much more per minute then the other shooters. His minutes are game to game. Im not sure I would read into it anymore then that. Gil and Hughes played great and were not in foul trouble. That may have had more to do with it then anything. Why not play your best players if you can.

Maybe I am over-reacting or reading into something too much but I just noticed early in the game when Juan came in he seemed to just get the ball and shoot, get the ball in shoot...and they were not even good shots....he has forced some shots early this year and for some reason I have become sensitive to it....maybe my issue.
