The NFL stopped this practice already in an attempt to create and more level playing field.
Mil. had this grap in there house last night. It was so annoying last night to hear this. It was so fake, it made the game not as enjoyable to watch. I had to turn down the volume on my TV and then I couldnt hear the announcers calling the game.
It was to instant. The split second the Wiz started to shot, all the sudden the volume when way up. Sometimes it would stay up for a long time.
This should be banned. It would almost be the same as sounding a loud horn the moment a player started to shoot.
I hate hearing do much artifical noise.
It should be about the players and the crowd, not some music box.
No crowd is into the game that loud in the 1st and 2nd quarter. It builds over time. Thats part of the excitement. The real crowd getting into it.
It really takes away from the real excitement of the game. I hated it.
If you suck and you have no crowd noise, to bad.
