What was your most memorable Super Bow Play?
Mine has got to be Doug Williams 80 Yard TD Pass to Ricky Sanders in Super Bowl XXII to spark a 35 points second quarter.

I'd say the Riggins run.
We would have lost that game more than likely if he got stopped and I remember running around the house yelling for a while after it, lol.::laugh:

Andre Reed slamming his helmet off and Wilbur Marshall pulling the offical, the offical turns and see's Reed "hatless" and throws the flag.
The play knocked the Bills out of field goal range stopped them getting on the board before half time!
Reed was pissed due to he felt Brad Edwards had interferred with him on a pass. Edwards made a great play and was watching the ball all the way!

Has to be Riggins 4th down TD. Soooooo much drama in that one.
Here's another one you don't hear much about: Alvin Walton (I think) sacking Elway late in the 1st quarter to keep Denver from adding to their 10-point lead. That was actually the turning point of Super Bowl XXII.

Riggins run was the start of the glory years and all of us have the moment hanging in our homes. No question that was the biggest play in Redskins history

As much as I loved seeing Doug & Ricky hook up for 80 yards...for me seeing riggins rip off a 43 yard run is the play that started it all for Coach Gibbs & the Skins in the 80's. It was a lot of drama and a lot riding on the play and Riggo came through. The thing that stand out to me...after he did it...he just flipped the ball to the Ref and enjoyed the moment with his teammates. You probably wouldn't see that too much today.
I saw it on ESPN classic last night and the play still made me smile.

Riggins run....without question. Way more drama in that play.
(Non-Redskins moment - would be the Rams stopping Dyson on the one yard line)

Mine is the Sanders TD too. But if I could pick another one (since that's been mentioned) it was Gouveia's INT in the first series of the 3rd quarter to set us up for a 24-0 lead over Buffalo!

The 4th and 1 run by Riggins. Everyone on the field, in the stands, and on worldwide TV knew who was getting the
ball. Still, he not only made the first down, but scored a
TD. This play, IMO, broke the Doplhins back.

honestly I was too young to remember the Riggo run, even though it is my favorite. My All Time favorite is the Timmmy Smith run!

Riggin's run. That was the first Superbowl I remember.
Didn't the guy who tried to tackle Riggins lose his fingernail on that play?
