Where do you see this team going if Edwards and Williams are gone before #9?

Do you think you guys are going to make a push for Moss? What about Mason?

If Coles is really released and you guys receive nothing I will be suprised...Gibbs isn't an idiot and he must be looking for someone who is willing to give you guys a 2nd or 3rd.

I think our offense will suck for another year. Moss is too expensive, and Mason is mediocre. We will probably keep Rod and draft the best available wr, even if the good ones are gone.

Rod is definitley gone.

I think the offense to be honest will be just fine. A lot of these guys signed on for something else.

If the o-line is upgraded and we can get Mike Williams to be productive next year we will be ok. I really like Taylor Jacobs and think that he has a chance to thrive.

We will see. Losing Coles is a major blow though

I don't see all the top three WRs being gone by the #9 pick. Most likely we'll have our choice of Williams or the kid out of S.C. Any one of those guys across from Taylor Jacobs and/or DMAC/Thrash wouldn't be bad.

Why would we trade him? We need WR's and none of the ones on our current roster other than Coles are better if even equal. It makes no sense. I know people hate him here, but we deen WR's and it would be cheaper to keep him than to sign or trade new ones.

I honestly don't know how I feel about Rod going now, I see him staying here another year if Coles is really gonna go. Rod, was productive as a #1 his rookie year, maybe he could play well for us for this season. Then we let him go next year because knowing Rod he'll be asking for way to much.

Yeah there is NO WAY we can lose both of these guys. The chemistry would be all messed up. When can't let this happen with the mediocre offense we already have.

What was not obvious to any of us was clearly known to Gibbs and the team for two months now. From the WP story, it is clear that the team understood that Coles was very iffy coming back, yet they still made the decision to give Gardner permission to find a trade. If you let coles go because he doesn't want to be here, well why wouldn't the same logic apply to gardner - who isn't nearly as good and tough as coles. I never understood why the team never said McCants wasn't in the plans for the future - this is probably why.

I simply cannot believe that the team does not have a pretty elaborate plan to do something about the wr position at this stage. I would imagine that we will start to see that plan unfold very soon. Certainly no later than midnight March 2nd.
