Yeah, you'll get hammered for it. Our good friend to extremeskins.com Doc Walker is also on that show.

Instead of ragging on it, why not offer a few suggestions on how they can improve the show.

Too much basketball talk even during football season

This is a football town!

saying something like that to John Thompson is like saying something to Joe Gibbs

I thought he had a very good point about the Coles thing, saying he sees it strange that a player wants to win so bad yet is willing to leave after only two season, does Coles not think Gibbs is going in the right direction and is he more concerned of his stats then winning.

Doc was right saying the Skins have to spin this to make it seem it all works out, and no matter what you don't want one of your best players not wanting to be here, so you get rid of them, before other players wonder what is going on.

I dont mind it that much...its just hillarious how John Thompson never knows anything regarding football and he is constantly asking Doc Walker how many yards for a 1st down and questions like that. LOL

I wish they would give Bram Winstein(sp?) his own show for that timeslot...I enjoy Bram.

yeah i like John Thompson... i only listen to him when i go back Va time to time. Even though he might not be the most knowledgable expert on every sport he does make good observations on most topics i thought when i listened to him...

John Thopmson can only talk basketball, and its frustrating to listen to talk about other sports. Yes I do agree Bram needs to step in more. Do

Thompson's show is eminently more enjoyable to listen to in the car or at home than the drive-time show with Pollin and Czaban.

Thompson at least admits there is SOMETHING he doesn't know everything about.

Meanwhile, Pollin, the Redskins Expert and Czaban, the NFL GM, give us their sagely advice each day at 5pm

Pollin really took the seriously the fact Snyder asked him to sit in on the Redskins 70 year team, since then he has acted as if he were Buddha and had started his own religion.

I love the show, try listening to Baltimore's 'Those Sports Guys'.
Talk about awful. They have quite possibly the gayest segment I have ever heard in 'The five o'clock cattle call'

BTW. I do like the Thompson show, but sometimes it sounds like he has a hangover.

I am taking bets on what those two say today, Coles gone because he isn't a nascar fan

I dont like the fact that Pollin and Czaban talk trash about Gibbs, i mean if these guys are so smart about how to run things, why dont they submit their resume to be the GM?

The man (Thompson) knows everything about basketball, pro or college. He has an X NFL player (Walker) to talk football, a local X NCAA basketball coach (drawing a blank on his name) to talk Maryland ball, a lifetime sports guy who knows hockey (Kochen, for what hockey is worth), admits to being "Joe the Fan" when it comes to anything he is clueless on and is respected by everybody you ever hear talking about him. Compared to many other shows this could be a national show.....no problem. He blows away Cowturd and gives Dan Patrick a run IMHO.

Ok now that Czban is on, is it me or are they ignoring this story? It seemed they weren't even talking about the Coles situation, so I turned the speakers all the way down, and now it is a commercial......did I miss something or have they not even mentioned the Coles story yet?

I turn the dial as soon as Mr. Tony goes off at 5:41.
They stink and I wouldn't listen at all if it wasn't for Tony.

I personally love the John Thompson show. Its much better than the Kornheiser show from 3 to 5. On my ride home Kornheiser pissed me off talking about cooking recipes and topics that didn't even involve sports. I was happy as hell when they moved Kornheiser to earlier in the day. I always loved and still love the John Thompson show.

With an IQ of 10... it wont be hard for you to go insane...

JT, does not claim to be the most knowledgeable radio host, but he does have people who help him in areas that he has no competence...

Moreover, he gets people on his show who would not talk to anyone else...

Thank you bulldog…I’d rather listen to JT all day than 5 minutes of Czaban.

Another knee-jerk comment by someone who has no respect for a person's right to form their own opinion. Perhaps you're the one with the IQ of 10.

yeah. Nobody watches the Wizards, ( Even if they are bad), Maryland and Georgetown Basketball or anything.

Oh and boys. What say we try to shy away from the personal attacks. You do know how well that is received by the powers that be around here.......... not.

Okay Trez, what part of his post makes sense? The "I wish they could replace that show"? or the "listening to it makes me go insane" part?

So because the host of the show knows nothing about football, he is driving poor heyholetsgogrant insane.

Well, I might have an IQ of 10, but I recognize when a show host who addresses himself as "Joe The-Fan" should not be taken seriously when it comes to football matters...

Mr. Thompson at no point ever said he was a football expert unlike some of the blow hards we have on the radio...

Ps. I guess heyholetsgogrant grip should be targeted at Doc Walker since he is the one that brings any football insight to show...

If you want to get rid of a show please get rid of Tony Kornsucker. Please bring back the Herd. All Tony does is talk about his old guy radio and stupid things that doesn't relate to sports.

Heed these words, folks.

Heed them in another thread. This one's closed.
