I guess the skins are stepping a little more cautiously this year. Maybe that is the wrong word. Wonder were Redskin1 is.

... a little too quiet if you ask me. (If this were a horror movie the title of your thread would have started a massacre)

I expected to wake up and find Coles dealt, Samuels reworked, and someone signed. Instead, Samuels has been reworked and Rabach is coming in today. That's a good beginning. We need calmer pre-seasons. I still hope in the end we retain both Smoot and Pierce. Coles... I would like to keep actually. I haven't heard enough from him to really believe he's given up on the team. He asked to be released, but I haven't heard what he has to say directly so I don't know that he would be cancerous. Gardner, I am more ambivalent about. If he goes so be it. More disappointments than highlights... could be quarterbacking, could be him.

Gibbs said it was going to be a quieter FA period this off-season for the Redskins cause there was no need to be noisy.

Gibbs is a man of his word. :)

Yep. A center for the Ravens. He's expected to sign with the Redskins today.

How good he is, I don't know much about him.

But considering the success Jamal Lewis has had with the Ravens rushing, I guess he isn't bad

Bubba ... are you just looking for an extra post with that one? Seems like you have been hanging with J-Booma a bit for that.

Rabach only played C this year. I think he might've played OG previously, but Mike Flynn was their C for the past few seasons and is signed long term. He got hurt before the season and Rabach came in and apparently played really well.

Yeah, Rabach performed so well at the center spot that when Flynn came back from his injury I believe he was unable to win his job back.

Rabach is able to play guard, but is apparently better suited to play center, that was his college position if I'm not mistaken.

Bubba ... in case you didn't get it ... it was meant as a joke/goof.

Rabach is a good signing by the FO. Raymer is getting old and Lenny Friedman was underachieving, but he will be good in the near future.

bubba,

I heard it once. It was a riff on my "sure is quiet" joke. I thought it was funny.
