Typical - he's junk and they are better off without him.

Yeah the few I know are as well. Pissed that he is gone and that they kept Flynn instead.

Saying his loss creates another hole in their line.

Let's hold our horses a bit... we were saying the same thing about the signing of Raymer last year... and all he did was get pushed around like a school girl and singlehandedly devastate our interior running game.

Rabach is only a 4yr vet and he has no injury history and was widely known as the best C on the Ravens roster although he didnt start...We got a gem in Rabach, Raymer was a stop gap...

Rabach's signing re-assures me that the Skins have a plan for the off-season...

I agree; but I think we still looked at all the questoin marks coming in with him too. We expected him to be good, but I think alot of people were still aware that he might not work out. Plus that Rabach is young makes me excited that he could be just hitting stride

True true. Right after the season, the concensus was that we all hoped Coles would get healthy because he was so valuable to the team. Recently, he's not that good because of his toe and we'll be fine without him.

I love the argument some of these fans had that supposedly spoke to why Rabach wasn't good. Apparently, the running game was better in 2003 when he was a backup. Somebody should have mentioned that Jamal Lewis was a little distracted last year...

They're raving about him at the Baltimore Sun message board. Saying it was a big loss.

it's the same as when Smoot or Bailey leaving the Redskins and they are the best at their position.

You forgot Randy Themas. No disrespect but, what's so exciting about Samuels? As far as I'm concerned he's been nothing to get excited about.:allhail:

Raymer was signed a backup, never figured he would start almost all season

I am just glad they are signing people on the offense. Cant see were we need much on the defense side. Except someone constantly restating the rules for hitting people out of bounds to Taylor. And giving Salave dance lessons that air guitar is so funny its sad.

Lets be real though, it's not like he's the best in the league or anything. Even with a bad toe he's the best receiver we have, but it's not like he can't be replaced.

Funny. I thought he would take the job away from Friedman in training camp. I saw him as an upgrade at center. Although I think he could very well get let go now and Friedman kept since he plays C and G while Raymer is only a C. Buges values versitility...

The story goes that Baltimore gave Flynn a four or five year deal last offseason, content with Rabach as a backup.

However, Flynn goes down early in the year and Rabach steps in, and steps up big.

So much so, in fact, that even when Flynn was healthy again, Rabach stayed the starter.

I'm sure Bugel can't wait to get started with Rabach.

I was happy with signing of Raymer last year because he was an old redskins and it is always nice to have an old redskin back here...I was hoping that he would be able to overcome the injury bug hat he has, which he did but he certainly wasn't as good as he was when he was a redskin previously....

A young athletic center will do wonders for our running and passing game.....Raymer was pretty bad this past year......not really his fault....playing with an inexperience guard....a fill in right tackle, and an injured left tackle.....this year with everyone healthy I think Dockery will make great strides......if Dockery seems to be doing well...I'd really like for us to extend his contract during the season so we can go into the offseason with our OL intact and function beautifully....

I've talked to 3 Ravens fans who say that the Center from them we signed is pretty good.

Center was a main concern and we don't have time to develop a rookie at that position. It's a good move to solidify the line. Let Buges at him.:notworthy
