I saw today on NFL network that Mason turned down a deal from the Patriots that would have gave him more money than the contract he will sign with the Ravens. The reason being that Masons wife wants to live in the Baltimore area. With that being said and Washington not being to far away from Baltimore we should have made Mason a deal.

Title is extremely missleading...makes me think you actually had concrete information on this...

Sorry for the missleading title. I thought it ok at the time of posting. I guess I should have put,'' Redskins should have made an offer to Mason.'' I will keep that in mind in the future.

Well I thought maybe people would like to know he turned down a bigger contract for his wife. Thats cool of the guy. He may have rather have been a Redskin instead of a Raven. He may have signed for even less with us.
