I was checking out the skins page on the washingtonpost website, and they had this poll on offseason concerns. Apparently Williams is the biggest one, whys that?

He said yesterday that Gibbs and him are in this for the long hall. He isn't going anywhere.

For the ump-teenth time, Gregg Williams isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
The Post probably put that there, because yes, if he were to go, that would be a major blow to our defense, to put it mildly. But he isn't going anywhere.
Sometimes the Skins page at the Post is outdated.

Gibbs even said in his interview on WJFK a few weeks ago that Williams is most likely his successor unless a ridiculous offer from another team entices him to take a HC position in the next 3 years.

How great would it be to have him take over for Gibbs in 3-4 years!
All this talk about keeping core redskins players, how about coaches. Williams didn't do a great job in Buffalo, but Belichek (sp?) didn't succeed in Cleveland in his first run as head coach. Williams has proven himself a leader and a winner after one year with the skins and I would love to see him take over for Gibbs, when he decides his tenure is finally over.

Gregg Williams will be here for a while. I wish there were more new topics in the offseason so we didn't have to belabor old ones.
