Just when you thought it was safe to go in the water....... the sharks strike. Arizona was considered the underdog in bidding for Okeafor with Seattle and Denver. Okeafor has had about 18 sacks the last two years. He will be teamed now with Bert Betrand who had 14.5 sacks I believe. :)

Maybe they will cut DE Calvin Pace now, and we can pick up some of their crumbs. :paranoid:

Arizona's D had its moments last year, we'll see how they do this year. With Warner and those WRs, a new RB, in the weak NFC West, they may make the playoffs. Too bad they're gonna get punished when they come to Washington.

Wouldn't Pace be expensive? We don't exactally have a lot of space thanks to Coles.

he hasn't done anything in the NFL and is about to get cut, so probably not.

And having said that, Arizona isn't exactly known for their defensive coaching skills and we have Blache and Williams that can help him with that.

are you guys actually serious about Pace? He was a high draft pick, and is young, but could he still dominate? Wouldnt it be just as cheap, maybe cheaper to sign some draft pick we get in the 2nd round (trade down) or 3rd? I dunno, I wouldnt mind trying Pace out, but I doubt he'd be any better than a rookie we can work up.
