Well I know alot of recievers run track and field, but it does look like Gibbs and Company are addressing the WR corps pretty good. Passing game should definitely improve next year. No more waiting for the play to develop. Patrick just chunk it and let them run underneath it.

All our WR's now with the exception of DMac are extremely fast. Even Thrash has great straight ahead speed.

I hope speed is the answer!

We still need a possesion WR though, ya know, for a redzone target. If DMAC is still here, we should be fine.

Believe it or not, Moss has specialized in red zone duty for the Jets. I think he does it via separation, rather than airing up over defenders - whatever gets the job done.

The speed, precise route running, smart thinking, and dependable hands of Thrash/Jacobs/Patten/Moss/Cooley will greatly improve our offensive numbers this season.
And the fact that we have no "ME first" attitudes on our team will help too.
I'm predicting our offense to be top 15 in the league this year.

Just for giggles what is Cooleys 40 time. I know he is the hback.
He is our possession reciever.

Let's hope Cooley and Royal step up (or better still, McCants), because I don't think right now we have a decent go to guy on 3rd and 8.
What we have is a repeat of '02 - a lot of cheap and available speedsters.

I beg to differ. With the exception of Jaquez Green, non of the Gatorskins were speedsters like Brown and Moss.

All the talk about possesion is actually kind of funny....like someone up top said, with Cooley, McCants (if he is still around), and an improved Royal i think you have some good hands.

I like to think that these guys' speed, and the strength of Ramsey's arm, will cause defenses to back off the line a bit...that, and a much-improved line, could mean big things for CP next season. Here's hoping.

How about Cooley and Heath Miller? Defenses wont know which one is staying to help protect or releasing out. (of course after a trade down)
