With Shaun Alexander available, the Eagles could make a serious move on him using some combination of their late 1st rounder and 2 second rounders. They have around 14.4 million in cap space. Scary thought. They would have a real workhorse back.

I think that the Eagles are content with their current RB situation. As a matter of fact, they just resigned Burkhalter to back up Westbrook.

If they get Alexander the final pice of the puzzle would be there.

This absolutely is a concern. We know that McDryheave was trying to recruit Alexander at the Pro Bowl. Philly has a bunch of first day picks so I can really see them sending a package of picks to Seattle for Alexander. If they get him forget it, make their reservations in Detroit right now.

The Eagles have owned us for the past 4 years and will continue to own us. We have a helluva lot of our own problems to worry about. Eagles are the best in NFC East as well as entire NFC

Alexander has never really impressed me. He runs hard.... but he seems to also be defended pretty easily as well.
They are going to continue using Westbrook as their primary back. He's like a step below Marshall Faulk but still a great back out of the backfield in the passing game. Could run a little harder inside... but that's not the Eagles game.

Westbrook demands more attention on te field then Alexander does IMO. Hes a dual threat why would the Eagles not want him on their team playing?

He's "soft". I'm not worried. Bring it on!

Iy was reported by Adam Schefter last night on the NFL network that the Eagles faxed a contract offer to Plaxico Burress last night. Probably a 1 year offer so he could show what he could do in a passing O. I'm not sure if I want him on the Eagles or not.

i seriously doubt that Alexander will be going to the iggles with the resigning of buckhaulter i dont think that really need him westbrook fits the offence like a glove they dont really need to change RBs i mean it got them to bowl last year McNabb cost them the Championship

I rather see him on the field than westbrook. westbrook is much harder to defend than alexander.

Owned us? Yes.
Will continue to own us? Let's just wait until next season unfolds before passing judgement on that.
O ye of little faith.
