If he had hit him in the eye or in the chest, he could be looking at murder charges. Something tells me we witnessed just one example from a long series of torments.

No, not necessarily at all. The scissors are holding the blood in....furthermore we only see a snipit of it....now when the remove the scissors...aheem, yeah, theres the blood.......

You may very well be right, but based on what we see in that video, there is nothing there that tells me that he deserved to be stabbed by scissors. You can have your hunches, feelings, & inklings all you want, but evidence is evidence & what I saw...well, let's just say the punishment didn't exactly fit the crime.

Now, I will say that IF that is the case where the thrower of said scissors is a victim of constant bullying & pestering, then by all means, gouge his flippin eyes out. But as I said, we don't know that that's the case & based on that video, we can only gather the facts which are:

He was squirtted with what appears to be water from a water bottle.
He gets pissed
He throws scissors & hits the guy who squirtted him with water in the arm with the scissors

That's what we know. Did he deserve a sliced arm for squirtting his friend with water? I think not.
