Here's one from my old USENET days on rec.motorcycles.com
It a story (http://www.spagthorpe.com/production/bulldog.html) about discovery and loss, set against the magnificent backdrop of the Spagthorpe motorcycle legend.
You might get a kick out of it Phil, along with the rest of the site.

Great story Terry. Does look like a Ford tractor:cool:
I also liked the history of the "Boxer". The Germans never tell it that way:laugh:
I got to work on a weird bike this week. 1959 HD "Tele Glide". Never actually saw one before. 125cc two stroke. Real small bike for the street, and very underpowered. A fair to good restoration job was done on it. I had to do some custom reworking of the OE throttle. The owner couldn't deal with the stifness of a solid wire twist throttle. Big time fatigue.
He also has two 1948 200cc Whizzer's. One is restored, but hasn't run in a while. I may get to do a ground up on the second one:D :D
