I'll be disappointed if this turns out to be true. I have always considered Marvin Harrison to be a classy player and person.

Lawsuit alleges Harrison attacked minors
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/3500162
HONOLULU (AP) - Marvin Harrison of the Indianapolis Colts and two other men are accused in a lawsuit of attacking three boys seeking the wide receiver's autograph a day before Pro Bowl.
The suit, made public Monday, seeks general, special and punitive damages to be determined at trial. It alleges Harrison "violently and physically attacked" the minors, including placing a "potentially deadly choke hold" on one of the boys.
Police interviewed Harrison while he was in Honolulu and forwarded their report to city prosecutors, who are considering whether to pursue charges. Harrison was not arrested and no one has been charged.
The boys have incurred medical expenses and severe emotional distress as a result of the assault, the suit said.
Johnnie Reshard Jr., Ernest Simon Jr., Eric Gilbert Jr. , whose ages are not listed in the suit, and their parents were visiting from California to attend the Pro Bowl when the boys were assaulted at the Hilton Hawaiian Village by the All-Pro player and two unidentified men, the suit said.
A Colts spokesman said the team would have no comment. Harrison's agent could not be reached immediately for comment.
The alleged altercation occurred Feb. 12, when the boys approached Harrison, who was talking on his cellular phone at the Waikiki resort. While the boys were waiting for Harrison to finish his calls, two men acting on the receiver's behalf said there would be no autographs or photos.
Without provocation, the suit says, the two men, later joined by Harrison, attacked the boys.

The kids were mad they didnt get his autograph so they made the story up.
Dont you think Marvin would have been charged with something by now if it had actually happened?

.....no way......Even if Marvin did something like that he had to be hit first......in that case what knuckle head kid would hit a guy that Big......MH is a small nfl player but compared to the everyday guy he's a beast....

If anyone has ever been to the hilton hawaiian village they would know there is few places that he could have done this without any witnesses. Sounds like money hungry parents. While I am at it chump bailey was the only one to ever snub me at the pro bowl and I was wearing his jersey.

"without provocation" rigggghtttt
my guess:
the kids (prolly like 17) hear that they cant have an autograph, so they start yelling obscenities and the entourage get pissed and tell the kids to get the **** away. The kids get even more mad and try to be bad a**es and hit the entourage. harrison goes over to push the kids off the entourage and keep them from killin the kids. A kid swings at harrison so he grabs him by the neck. Kids sue, and likely get a settlement check. Stupid kids.

I think this is a bunch of BS. Doesn't matter who was actually with Harrison, it doesn't sound like his style at all. Just a couple of kids pissed he wouldn't give them autographs.

A person who has had accusations made against him regarding criminal offences is a "suspect" until further investgiation reveals there is enough evidence to lay charges. End the occurrence closed.
To insinuate charges would have been laid by now would be incorrect.
I would guess that the investigation is still ongoing. Otherwise, charges would have been laid.

I doubt this is true. Harrison would have to be pretty stupid to attack two minors for NO REASON, being a RICH, professional athlete who could easily get taken to the cleaners for it. Yeah, right.
And if even if he did do it, I bet you any amount of money the "no provocation" part of their story is as likely as John Madden going on a diet.

I live about a 2 minute walk from the Hilton Hawaiian Village and the only thing I can tell you about that place is don't stay there because one of their towers has an extreme mold problem.
As far as Marvin goes he is obviously not guilty or he'd already be wrapped up. These kid's are no doubt punks and they are not gonna get 1 penny.
If you are here in Hawaii during the pro bowl experience then you should behave as a respectful visitor. I was in attendance st the last pro bowl and I saw plenty guys leaving the game with a lump and some cuffs

Yeah Marvin's a nice guy... Just like Michael Jackson was everyone's sweetheart back in the 80's..
If one thing I've learned in 29 years of life is, never, EVER put anything past anybody.
Never the less I hope it isn't true, because MH has always seemed very nice and layed back.

I think it all depends on the AGE of the kids...
Under 15 and there are issues....

I deriously doubt he laid a hand on them, and there's no way that if he did, it was unprovoked. I hate money grubbers. Money grubbing autograph hounds are even worse. That autograph would have been on e-bay within the hour had he doled it out.

There are some loud mouth, smart a**ed, big and bad wannabe 13 and 14 years old too.
If no charges, then watch the parent's go to a civil court.

Provoked or not it doesn't matter..
A kid comes up and kicks me in the shin, I curse under my breath because that is what most adults do. We don't put our hands on the kid.. That's what makes adults, adults and kids punks ;p.
Sure we want to punt them lil bastards through a pair of uprights but like adults we don't.. Well most of us anyway

Something did happen. The kids who got roughed up needed an ambulance to be called. My friend was one of the EMTs who responded to it. The "kid" was actually a big dude, over 6' and 200+ lbs, but he was still young. The story goes that somewhere between asking for autographs and Marvin Harrison talking on a cell phone, the kids got roughed up by Harrison's bodyguards. When the kid looks up, he sees no other then Marvin Harrison choking him out.
and if this was all made up, it would have been dismissed by now. The fact that there's still an ongoing investigation and stories about it means something did happen and the authorities are trying to figure out exactly what.

I can't believe your friend would tell you what happened.
As an EMT, he is obligated to keep this information to himself.
edit: No calling you a liar......just saying that is not good that he is talking about his medical emergencies.
Big kid.........200+ pounds.
Sounds kinda funny..........still.

I met Marvin many times while at Syracuse and he never reacted to fans of any any age with anything but class and a smile.
He did have a bit of a temper if provoked and I'd bet that if anything did happen that they got him riled up.
How old are these "boys" anyway? 17-18? They make it seem like it took 3 adults to attack some 10 yr olds.
Sounds like a bit of a money grab to me...
The boys have incurred medical expenses and severe emotional distress as a result of the assault, the suit said.

rofl, while I'm sure he's in great shape and lean, muscular even, I wounldn't call 6' 175lbs a beast.
I was an EMT for a little 2 years. There is no law that says you can't talk about what happened on a call. We talked and told stories to other people all the time. The Doctor/Patient privilege does not apply here. The only thing we didn't say was "Hey so-in-so with a SSN of....."

I hope this isn't true, I'm not judging in one way or another, but it seems hard for me to believe that this happened in broad day light and no one else witnessed it..
I would kind of notice if a pro football player was choking out a teenager.. Unless I was spending the day strolling through Baltimore.
