ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) - Fullback Rob Konrad and defensive lineman Kenny Smith signed with the Oakland Raiders on Thursday.
Konrad spent his first six seasons with the Miami Dolphins, who drafted him in 1999. He was a five-year starter for Miami, but he missed six games and made just one start last season while battling injuries to his back and thigh.

Miami released Konrad on March 14.

Smith played in 30 games over the last four seasons with the New Orleans Saints, but missed all of last season with a torn rotator cuff.

too bad Konard got hurt. He was really good at Syracuse, and his 1st few years in Miami.

I think Oakland & San Diego are going to keep Denver and KC out of the playoffs in 05.

I'll agree that they will keep Denver out the playoffs. This being Dicky V's last year, anything is possible for KC.
