One super mega murge,( of 15 threads), plus 9 or 10 more on what, how, when, and where he could or will be helping the Redskins,1 that says it was a bad idea and 1 that says the FO sucks.

Well based on his stats he isnt worth a lot more than Gardner. So if he signs a Coles like contract I will have no choice but to puke.

They have apparently agreed that they won't really do an extension until after June. I think the team wants to see what happens in the draft, Post June 1 cut fa pickups, trade of Gardner, etc. to determine what their cap situation is. Another factor that will determine our cap is how Barrow progresses. We will have a much better idea of whether he will ever recover in another couple of months. If he retires or is cut (it would be after June 1) then we would save another $1.7 million this year and have more money under the cap. All those things will play into it - Rosenhaus understands that Moss will get a new deal and that they just have to wait a little while longer to really get into it.

i just hope they get it done before the season is over because i have this gut feeling that he and the rest of the team are going to have a good season. the last thing they need is his price to skyrocket.

I'm still torn about Moss. He definatly doesn't deserve a huge contract based on the fact that he's not a number one receiver. Knowing us, however we'll probobly over pay.

OK MORE (starts) not Longer..
13 less games played in (almost a season)
11 Less starts

GARDNER
G 64
GS 62
No 227
Yards 2997
Avg 13.2
Lg 85
TD 22

MOSS
G 51
GS 29
No 151
Yards 2416
Avg 16
Lg 69
TD 39

If you would have complained about his DURABILITY it would have been one thing, but for almost one less season he looks pretty good stat wise and the big number here is TDs... 22-39 isn't even close to the identical guy.

I hope they make it a reasonable contract. He's only had one 1,000 season. But Drew Rohsuenas is Danny's boy he'll help us out.
