why in the hell would stores be selling Taylor #21 Jerseys if he wasn't switching his #.

I mean unless these are not "real" Reeboks, that means somebody (either the Redskins or the NFLPA) contacted Reebok and had Reebok start to make new jerseys.

I haven't read every post on this thread but other than seeing that Finishline had the #36 on discount, what stores are carrying the #21?

Finally, how come Taylor (I love the guy but what about some other skins?) is getting a 2nd Jersey made for fan consumption and none of the other solid performing Skins from last year have yet to get one.

He said they had to take the 21's off the rack. Needles to say I was pretty happy, having now gotten over by purchasing the 36 one for $30. lol

Yeah buying for a store is very hard. No matter what you get someone always ask for the one thing you didnt get. I'm not sure how it is with Skins merchandise. But I do some buying for the gallery I manage, and people don't understand that one cannot just buy one specific item without having to meet some sort of minimum order.

i am haveing a hard time believing he isnt going to be # 21 next year. At the Redskins store in Dulless mall Sean Taylor came in and bought all of his Authentic jerseys that were in the store

( The day when the team reported back to Ashburn for offseason conditioning)
and then information came out that he is going to number 21. Are we really that foolish to think that the skins had tons of jerseys shipped and sold for nothing?

I didnt wear it i was gonna give it to someone to get it authographed . while it was sitting on the bed my daugther ripped out the tags

i dont know if they do or not nick i just know what i was told by the manager at dulless when i was asking about getting a Taylor authentic.

Taylor could have been trying to get a hold of as many jerseys as possible because he sells his own merchandise on his site.

I'm pretty sure we have it narrowed down to 36, 21 or 28.

I know it seems like no big deal to some....but I'd feel kinda funny wearing my Taylor 36 if he goes 21.

Dude the first post is an email I recieved from K. Swanson of Redskins.com. So as far as I know he will be 21 but you never know.

Think about this. Pretty clearly Taylor contacted the team and asked for his number to be changed, which caused the team to order new jerseys. Then, he changed his mind and decided to keep 36 as he said on his site.

Clearly this is just Taylor making a couple of adjustments in his thinking and the team tried to respond to his wishes. It appears he'll be No. 36.

But in order for that to be true, you would have to believe that user "Sean Taylor" really is him. Personally, I don't think it is.

Na I wont believe any info until it is reported in some media outlet. I mean the closest thing we really have is the word from K Swanson. But really who knows.
