Steve Czaban says we get 6 wins
Andy Pollen says we get 6 wins
Chris says we get 7 wins

mind you last year they said 13-3

What is funny they all say if Lavar wants to be the "captain" then he needs to shut up

Whats funny is that you still listen to 980. Outside of Doc, everyone on that station is completely clueless.

Not a surprise

Both have been really hard on the skins this offseason

Shocking.

That's a big surprise.

The NFL could have scheduled us for 16 games with the Bears and they still would have hated our chances.

They predicted us to go 13-3 last year?
No wonder they act like the kid who takes his ball an goes home

Makes me wonder what the Fab Four are going to predict:

Sonny - 11 and 5
George - 16 and 0
Riggo - 10 and 6
Wilbon - 7 and 9

More like

Sonny 12-4 (although during the actual week to week picks he NEVER EVER EVER picks against the skins)
George 11-5
Riggo 7-9
Wilbon will waffle and say "They'll win somewhere between 6 to 8 games"

Call off the season. "The Sports Boobs" say the Redskins are winning 6 games next year.

That is of course until the Redskins win their first pre season game....then it's 13-3 and how are we ever going to lose the 3.

In alot of peoples' eyes, we are a 6-10 team that got worse in the offseason.

Obviously it will be up to the team to prove those people wrong.

I have no problems with radio personalities predicting 6-10, I just hope they are wrong in the end. I know we as fans want to hear differently but in reality harsh predictions are appropriate.

I've only seen Sonny predict against the Skins twice. Once was against Carolina(I think) when Marty was here. And the other time was with SS.

He is the more likely 16-0 guy.

Whenever they're on though, let me know. Sadly I am no longer around to watch.

its funny, since Gibbs dissed these guys, they have really mean when talking about the Skins.

I imagine they know their time is running out.

they also predicted Dallas would have an even worse record, the Bledsoe would be benched by week 8...., you'd have the 2nd overall pick....and Parcells would quit.

you were saying? ;)

The major homers are w/o a doubt - George and Sonny....

Riggo, the NY exile, has toned it down and Wilbong is all over the place.

Just ask - and remind me - I'll post their initial thoughts....and update you throughout the year.

They are...by far...the best to watch...nice chemistry and you never know what you are gonna hear.

These guys don't know s**** about s****. Czaban is gonna get his ass kicked by a fan one day if it hasn't already happened. That is my prediction for this season.

As for blasting the bears. They are not going to be that bad. We didn't exactly blow them out last year and they seem to have gotten better.

Still bitter about the Gibbs snub...

I think they should get LaVar and Coles in for some objective perspectives on the Skins...

Based on the schedule,
Barring injuries/June 1st cuts-pickups/and the draft

Looking at the Redskins schedule:
I think the Skins are in good position to pick up 5-7 games in the Non-NFC East opp.

vs. the NFC East
This is the tough one. You never can tell what you'll do in the division but IF we split with all the teams in the NFCE.......

I'm guessing btw 8-8 and 10-6

Although 7-9 or 11-5 is not out of the realm of possibilites.

That's just my early guess.....again it's still early to make a serious guess on what the Skins will do. And I'll have a more intelligent answer as preseason concludes. So it's rather stupid on Polan and Czaban to make a serious determination on how the Skins will do in 2005.

We do not have a easy schedule

Last year I said 11-5

This year I could really see us at 6-10

Let's hope I am as wrong this time !!!

I have been wrong so many times on even jerseys, I bought Shuler, Westbrooke and Coles. I hold my breath on my Portis and Arrington ones.

We're a solid 8-8/9-7 team this year with the potential to get a couple of good bounces and wind up 11-5/12-4.

What the mediots declare is based on trying to get a reaction out of the fans. Of course they're going to suggest the same wins as last year due to last year's results.

They've been burned too many times, like all of us, by unwarranted offseason optimism. Looking at the harsh light of recent history, I don't have a problem with these predictions. Though I hope like hell they're wrong.

I hate to do it too, but I'm predicting 5-11 to 7-9 (until we can prove otherwise).

George acts like a homer partially to hide what 'is rumored' to be a love of the Cowboys.

At least that's what I've heard.

I for one hope for 6 win predictions. The more the merrier. Let them underestimate us. They predict success, we suck. Maybe if they predict failure, we'll rack up 11 or 12. Here's to hopin.

Don't see what the big deal with those preds are. We are a bad team (last seasons record) that has on paper lost some talent. Yes there is a chacne that team chemistry will improve, the coaches will figure out how to use these guys, and much like the wizards we will become a playoff team. But if you were betting your house, would you say 11 wins or better? I wouldn't.

I predict 16-0! So what. I gave up on 980 toward the end of the season.

Has anybody here applied for a job at 980? I wouldn't mind hearing any of you guys as opposed to those bafoons

Man is this offseason too long!

In today's NFL, ANYONE who makes bold predictions is going to be made to look pretty foolish by season's end. There are just too many variables. McNabb goes down for the season in game 1...still think the Eagles are a 'lock' to go back to the Super Bowl?

Anything can happen. Its what makes the NFL so exciting to watch.

not trying to nit pick, but a lot of people predicted the patriots would beat the eagles in the super bowl this time last year.

There were several picking just that. Of course, alot of people predicted the same thing the previous couple of years as well. They were bound to guess right sooner or later. ;)
