That's a good list. Personally, I'd put the 1982 NFC Championship game there instead of the one from the 1970s.

Also, I'd have the seat-cushion game too!

The 1982 NFC Championship game has to be on that list. Never
have I seen a stadium alive as RFK was that day.

Seat cushion game was one for the ages...

It sorted capped the dynasty that Gibbs had.

It doesn't bother you guys a little that this guy thinks that the best moment in RFK history is when LT broke Theismann's leg?

Just a bit.

That list is **** without the aforementioned Falcons and We Want Dallas games. Complete ****. This writer is a ****head, and he's gone and pissed off TheDane.

How about:

January 17, 1988 Cornerback Darrell Green knocks down a Wade Wilson pass at the goal line to clinch a victory over the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship game. The Redskins go on to defeat the Denver Broncos 41-10 in Super Bowl XXII.

Or, how about:

January 12, 1992 - the Redskins destroy the Detroit Lions 41-10 in the NFC Championship game earning a trip to Super Bowl XXVI where they beat the Buffalo Bills 37-24.

****head.

Not to mention the countless times that we held Barry Sanders under a 100 yards.

I finally got to see him bust one at FedEx. You've got to see him do that once.

How about top FedEx moment:

Freorotte head butts wall after TD. Leaves game. Skins tie Giants. (I met him a couple years ago, but only talked about the game winning TD he threw in the first game at FedEx)

Though I fully enjoy all the suggested games much more than the other events on the list, I think this guy is trying to pick out the 10 most famous events that occurred at the stadium.

And quite honestly, LT breaking Joey T's leg might hold more national interest than one of the 4 NFC Championship Games the Skins won under Joe Gibbs.

Need to remove the soccer games.

I never saw a Redskins game at RFK....but I have some great FedEx moments to share:

1. vs. The Panthers 2001. My 1st Live game. 0-5 and Lavar picks off that pass and the Skins come back to win and finish the season 8-8. Plus, Mann inducted into the Ring of Fame at halftime.

2. vs The Colts- Manning gets picked by then the likeable Champ Bailey. 70th greatest Redskins at halftime.
I get to see many of the Redskins I grew up cheering for....what a great night.

Plus, I got to see the Texans play (and lose) to us in their 1st year.

I wish I could have been at RFK at least once during the 1st Joe Gibbs era, but I am hoping to see that happen to FedEx in the next year or two.

Don't try to talk sense into me, just let me fume. "We Want Dallas" didn't make it on to the list, so he made it onto my list.

Oh man, I didn't even notice that. - That was the '82 NFC Championship game too, when Darryl Grant ran back the TD. - That should be #1.

Monday night against the broncos. Elway gets sacked 5 times. Riggo's Jersey gets retired. Art Monk breaks the record for most receptions in NFL history.

I'm sorry, but that last game at RFK -- yeah we beat the Cowboys, but so what? It was a dead game. I had to chance to go to that one and instead I went to the one the week before vs. SF. That's how dead the one against Dallas was. It hardly deserves a higher ranking than some of the other ones like the seat cushion game. The guy who assembled the list put no more than ten minutes into it. This guy is whacked.
