Monitor Question

Everything looks reallly dark through my monitor. I mean I was trying to play Star Wars KOTOR and it was so hard to see around the area and stuff. How do I make things brighter? I already adjusted my Monitor Brightness and Contract to 100%. It's very hard to see things clearly.

I haven't played KOTOR but have you tried checking the in-game options? probably under "visual" or something along those lines. Look for something like Gamma or Brightness.

It isn't just for KOTOR. Seems like it's happening for a lot of videos and things. I mean when I visit this site on my schools computers it looks crisper and nicer than on my home monitor right here.

Hmmm okay I think I got it, fiddled around with Gamma under my nVIDIA settings.

Ack, okay it makes sites that are dark(like ES)look okay but sites that are bright now look ****ed up and are a pain on the eyes.
