Maybe we package Ramsey & Rod G.
and our 25 and take a QB (top 4) then snag a WR with the 9th?
And start Brunell.......
I like it. Im not high on ramsey anyhooo....

So: 4th on WR 9th on a QB
4th on a WR 25th on a QB

Or my long shot of the day is 4th wr

If we could find a taker for the Ramsey Rod deal id say it could happen....
Why wouldnt a team looking for a QB or a WR take this deal? just thinking on this one.

Yes you are. lol j/k. I dont know. I'm favor of keeping Ramsey, and letting him be the QB of our franchise. His whole stint here, no one has been 100% behind him. I hopes Gibbs is dedicated this year, and I definitely do not want Brunell starting again unless he HAS to. Last years outing was enought for me. Plus Ramsey and our O-line,WR, and Rb came on last year. We can only improve on that with a WR picked in the first round.

This is not a viable plan in my opinion.
Brunell is not an NFL QB any longer. If we did this, we would officially be in rebuilding mode. Given our desire to win now I just don't see this happening.

Also, I am wary of the two QBs and don't think either are close to sure things.

Ramsey is going to be a solid NFL QB. We have not given him a legitimate chance with a capable OL and stable protection.

OK i expected as much, But lets see.
1: Gibbs IMHO is not high on ramsey
2: He is high in Brunell
3: for all you who say that brunell is washed up sorry, mark my words if Ramsey has problems Brunell comes in and with a better O line is better then anyone (except me) would belive.
Im not a Ramsey hater at all but im just not big on him and wouldnt be surprised if brunell wins the start anyway.
If Gibbs sees that happening then he is willing to let Ramsey go now and pick up a future QB.
Now i dont have thin skin, and figured i would get the very predictable "you should be" And i did.
Whats funny is how many of these nits just posted a insult without any reason explaining how im wrong.
One person did make a point about cap problems with that deal working out.
And thats prob.. the reason it wouldnt work anyway BUT all you Ramsey lovers mark my words. hes to happy in the pocket and cant set under preasure. He will stand in and take a hit, i give him that, but hes too slow in reads to play for Gibbs and is on his way out's....
I own season tickets and really hope im wrong, But i try not to lie to myself about players. guess that comes from years of work in the Las vegas casinos...

So i guess you would expect him to say i think Ramseys a bum, and i dont see any upside to him now so were looking for a new QB?
Ok sure, he dosent like the kid as his future QB and if he drafts a QB Sat. that proves my point. Ill book mark this thread and make sure i hand out a few told ya so's when Ramsey dosent start the season....Or he gets benched cause he cant preform under a pass rush....

At the risk of being attacked also...

This is not out of the realm of possibility. Granted, Ramsey has been in some tough offenses to learn and deal with, but he has not shown enough to guarantee him a starting spot. He has shown he will ocassionally lose games for us, and at best, not lose them. Rarely do I foresee him leading us on a game winning drive down the field. He has a rocket arm, and when he gets flustered, he relys on that way too much. I am assuming the derision on this thread origniates from Brunell starting, however. Yeah, not too happy about that either, but Gibbs has said several times MB isn't done, he still has a role to play, etc. Also, check out Portis' comments that were posted the other day where he said the offenses problems were not Brunells fault, he just took the blame as the QB. Not a ringing endorsement for Ramsey, either. This whole scenario would be a bit of a gamble, but is it out of the realm of possibility, if Gibbs thinks Smith is our QB of the future? I don't think so. If Brunell stinks it up again, regardless of whose fault it is, the season is sunk. Unless Hasselbeck can come in and simply manage the game. All in all, very unlikely, but not completely without merit. And I don't think you're on drugs. But I am expecting everyone now to say I am/should be...
