Why Trade Up???

There is absolutely no reason to trade up in this draft for Bryalon Edwards. If we do then we are giving up two 1sts, a 3rd, a 4th, and potentially Gardner for ONE player!!! This especially doesn;t make sense considering Mike Williams might be on the board for our taking at #9...If we could pull off landing Mike Williams & then drafting Fabian Washington, Marlin Jackson, or a defensive end at the 25th slot that would be outstanding....

The other scenario I would puch for would be selecting Carlos Rogers, and then selecting Matt Jones at the 25th slot....

you may figure that they have a pending trade at 9 w/ someone based on a specific player being available. they have something we don't know yet. merriman and ware are hot right now.

this is driving me crazy, there are so many different scenarios, but through all this talk, im sure the FO has a plan for every scenario that plays out
