View Full Version : It's interesting how this board is so much smarter than ESPN..

It took us a matter of minutes to realize this QB/Jason Campbell crap was nothing more than a smoke screen. Yet every ESPN analyst still has us taking him at #25. I've heard some folks say we're trying to trade up to #1 to get Alex Smith! Don't they realize we already have 3 QB's, one who's the starter, another who just re-signed two days ago, and a third who is un-cuttable for at least one more year. I just don't get it.

That's because ESPN is too wraped in rateings, and having their head up thier :moon: to actually think clearly. I think that my mother knows more about football and sports in general than a lot of these ESPN reporters. And my mother doesn't know :pooh: about sports.

This is the most respected message board in the entire universe.

ESPN did the same thing last year. And the year before that. And the year before that. You get the picture.

What does ESPN stand for anyway ?

this is my take on it:

ESPN = Extremely Stupid Projections Network

Why, WHY would the skins let it leak that they wanted someone if they really did want them?
That's ass backwards.

Yea, Kiper doesn't believe at all that we are taking a QB, he say that it not like Gibbs to draft a rookie QB to start, and we all know that coach is not in the rebuilding mode, Hence trading away most of our draft picks this year and next, and since we still have some picks remaing next year, I do not believe he is done.

Or back asswards.

But maybe it's the ol' reverse psychology. Everyone would assume that the Campbell leak is a smokescreen, and then viola! We up and draft him.

Joe Gibbs is super smart, you know.

What, the Zoltan Zone? They're good, but they're no ES.

Yes, but the question is: Is Jason "I-scored-14-on-my-first-Wonderlic" Campbell super-smart? ;)

Wow, is that what he scored? I didn't know that. But isn't the Wonderlic test kinda BS? I saw a sample test once, and I looked at some of the questions, and thought to myself, "This test does not measure one's intelligence". So I don’t know how much stock I put in that thing.

Can you spell B-U-T-T-H-E-A-D-S?

They are the clowns of Sports.

Except Kiper...right or wrong in his projections, he always seems to take his job seriously.

He still has Williams at the top of his board. This shows me he is the only one on that network with a functioning brain. :2cents:
