Do the Skins need depth at TE?

My second cousin Adam Bergen [TE from Lehigh] has gotten some interest from the Redskins because he told me that someone from the organization called his High School coach. Do you think the Redskins would take a flier on him in the later rounds? I really want to see him drafted in the NFC East and he's a really great character and a hard worker. The skins seem to have been scouting/calling/interviewing a ton of late roundish prospects at TE. Blocking TEs primarily, but also the odd Antonio Gates athletically freakish basketball player. So yes, its possible.

They might well take a guy in the 6th or 7th round or possibly a UDFA that was a tackle in college and convert him to TE.

Blocking TE is a need but not a desperate one.
