Yeah, but I actually think this team would be better off as a seventh or eighth seed, I think they need motivation.

Maybe we'll beat the Pistons if we get them in the first round....

As long as we keep winning, it doesn't matter what the number is. I want the 4th seed and home court in the 1st round. Whoever we face, we'll put a WHUPPIN :whippin: on them!!! :kungfu:

You have to get into the playoffs before you can worry about seeding.

I think we will only lose 3 more games the rest of this season.

They're going to have to play much better than they've played in the last two games.

I wouldn't mind if we get Detroit in the first round. We beat them twice already.

Or six losses by Chicago, the team currently in 9th place in the East.
Or one win and 5 Chicago losses
Or two wins and 4 Chicago losses
Or three wins and 3 Chicago losses
Or four wins and 2 Chicago losses
Or five wins and 1 Chicago loss

I'd be a little worried about the nets too, luckily we only have to play LeBron James.

Since the 76ers lost to the Bulls, the Wizards magic number "opponent" is now Philadelphia.

So...
If we beat ATL and Boston beats Philly then the # is 2?
I have only had my eye on that #5 seed. 2nd straight year....#5 seed in the playoffs....i guess we atleast are establishing some consistency.
We are one player away from being a TOP TIER team....im just not sure who that player is and how we will get him.

Yes, if we beat Atlant and Boston beats Philadelphia the magic number will be 2.
And, as far as getting the #5 seed, we have to get into the playoffs before we can start worrying about seeds.

That player is Kevin "Big Ticket" Garnett. (Don't ask me how we get him but I think he wants out of Minny)

KG is dying to get out of Minn. but getting him wont be easy....
This years and next years draft plus Haywood and Daniels would probably do it.

I'm looking at Cleveland and quaking in my Nikes. LeBron, Larry and co. look ferocious. We may not get out of the first round this year. Even if we lose a spot we'd most likely play NJ who is also very hot right now. Go Wiz, though. I'll take what they are giving us the last 2 years. :applause:

I must say......I love playing in the Eastern Conference.
We've lost 3 in a row yet we haven't lost any ground on the 5 spot.
We gotta beat the Bucks though.

yeah beating the Bucks will be huge. But if we continue to play this way, we won't win.

(This is the last time I'll update this thread because the Wizards aren't going to make the playoffs and "counting down" will be too painful.)
